Thanks Bondiblue for your kind words and Heady stop being objective it doesnt sit well in here- wOOF IGNORING YOU BECAUSE YOU LIKE HAMILL .
Clayman you arent seriously putting Shane Healy in the same league as Ahmed Fahour surely
Obviously your view and mine about what constitutes middle management and mine is a far way apart.Executive management is CEO CFO CIO or COO or the General Counsel or their equivalent he doesnt seem to qualify in any of those cases- PROJECT MANAGER and the role you describe CONNOTES middle management
What AHMED FAHOUR is and does falls absolutely under the title senior or executive management.
Have you any idea about the asset base of Southern Cross apart from the Perth and Melbourne Station-Have you any idea what these senior roles entail at a major corporate
I know he is your mate but try to be a bit objective AS AN ANALOGY GIVEN YOUR STRUGGLING WITH MY EARLIER COMMENTS he is playing in the little league Fahour and the others are playing in the AFL that is the extent of the contrast.
As for the gratuitous comment of hiding behind a key board a strange comment from someone who admits reviewing the material for some time in here but not posting instead of hiding behind the keyboard perhaps your just a voyeur
Thanks for the reference to the negotiation of the radio rights with the AFL .Glad you think this was one of your mates achievements because the view in the market place is that the AFL ABSOLUTELY NAILED THE RADIO STATIONS IN THE RADIO RIGHTS DEAL.The AFL after having 7 and 10 pay over the tote odds for the TV rights used this as a pretext to inflating the price for the radio rights .Ben Buckley absolutely creamed them with his two tier system.I understand that 3AW went into negotiations desparate to keep SEN out of the negotiations and not only where they part of the negotiations AW were almost apopleptic when in consideration of getting the rights the AFL took an interest in SEN.
Kerry Packer said you only get one Allan Bond in your lifetime I suspect Ben Buckley is saying that about Shane Healy and others .
But hey he is a good bloke so that qualifies him to be the CEO of Carlton .
ps I look forward to your acerbic comments next time someone has a crack at Michael Malouf
By the way next time you post do your homework this isnt a place for rank amateurs nor is the position of CEO of Carlton- post something you know about next time and pick your targets better next time
best regards
