Good stat. I wonder if Chris Bryan's average kicks equals his average long kicks? Can he actually kick short passes or do they all go 40metres?

Given Campo's kick count was so high in 2005 though, wouldnt his short kicks stat still be high?

but if our long kicks are decreasing then Pagan is not wanting them to bomb it except that when we flood players look up and see sweet F all and panic - the bomb ensues.

It really is about 3 attributes.

Pace

Skill

Discipline.

Okay there are heaps more but I like those 3.

We lack all three.

Dont be baffled by the bullshit Danny. :-D

Since Pagan took over 3 years ago, the trend is that Carlton is the longest kicking side in the AFL.

(Never believe a man with lots of graphs  )

so we are not decreasing at as fast a rate
or
we flood too often and find ourselves in the position where we bomb to often
or
we have too many players who make poor decisions/ lack the skill
or
we are the next trend setter

Sorry BlueWorld I thought that the Razz ( :P ) emoticon was closest thing to a tongue in check emoticon.

(A quick look at my profile and you will see that I have always defended Campo and his role)

Should have used the rolleyes. But I'm pretty sure that Synbad has the rights to that one locked up?

So that satisfies you does it? If the simple answer is that 'we are just crap' as a generalistic response it implies that every one and every thing about the club is just crap. Kouta is crap. Fevola is crap. bentick is crap. Acceptance of such a simple line may work in defusing the laughter at us when Collingwood fans are around but how does that allow you to work through what we do have?

I agree with Jarusa who posted about how we may have our forward line. Our forward line is NOT crap. Waite, Fisher, Fevola, Betts are anti-crap. Our midfield and defence are not so clear - we've got some anti-crap players in there somewhere I am sure and others may agree.

Its pre-season and im sure you have time to try and work out where we arent crap, and as a result probably work out where we are crap.

Dunno Wonderkid, even Synners reckons we are crap. Anyways if you troll back through the history of the site I think you will find I have been one of the biggest defenders of the team. But then again some think anything I write is crap. So I guess crap is crap, no matter how you look at it.

Most people attribute the quote to Mark Twain, indeed I only learnt recently that it was Desraeli that said it first. ;)
