re: Mitchell, while I have not been that impressed by some of his previous efforts when I have heard him speak at 3/4 etc you cant knock his record this year with the Bullants. I think Pagan would be looking more at the development of younger players though and how quickly Mitchell is turning rookies into senior material and improving certain players...hard decision to make on Mitchell...
Libba..well if Libba has been tackling coach then he hasnt been real flash just on that issue alone..
Elshaugh..thought he was part of the Pagan team and wouldnt be moved on unless Denis had a beef with him...
Kernahan...maybe been around too long and needs a new challenge..
Peter Dean seems to have impacted in his brief roles at the club..wouldnt surprise me to see him get a job as an assistant..
Dont see Brett Ratten returning in the short term either after Denis engineered his early retirement..
Martin Pike...??.....entertainment officer perhaps?

I like the idea of Shaun Rehn, however, given his success in that shoddy SANFL league, you know the one where Neil Craig cut his teeth ... ... we'd need to offer him a genuine assistant role, rather than a specialist ruck coaching role. Also given the number of kids recruited out of West Adelaide under Rehn, inclusing our own Russell and Hartlett his addition to our team could be very timely as well.

Heres one that I like to apply to Synbad

If your oppoent is of choleric temper
Seek to irritate him
Pretend to be weak
So that he becomes arrogant
When he is at ease
You can defeat him.

What we need to do is put a fully kitted out Bluemark(Wearing 16) & Sinbad (25) at CHF at princes park and have Pheonix send down a few of his dead straight drop punts. No spoiling , just two blokes going for marks.

Winner takes all.

Wont really prove who knows more about footy but it would be great for the rest of us to watch.

Think Peter Dean will be an excellent addition to the staff.

Synbad would have the height and weight advantage, but BlueMark would have a bigger leap. Would be a good contest.

Sharpen your elbows gentlemen.
