One of his legs was heavily strapped at the end of the Swans game. I wonder if he's got some injury niggle.

Injecting 5 of our top 25 players at the club into the squad was always going to have casualties. We were light on for defenders, so Joey & Martin survived the chop, and we want to assess as many forward and rucks as possible. Injury or no injury, he was a good chance for the chop.

looking at the squads named, you would hope that we win relatively comfortably.

you would also hope that we played with a little more cohesion than last week.

kicking from the corridor to the fwd pocket/flank boundary was semi-ok when we had fev who could kick them from anywhere. without fev, i would rather us go up the guts. (maybe try some of that zig-zig running that the bombers beat us with last year). if we go up the guts and get done on the occasional quick turnover, i am ok with that. if we go to the boundary and still get done with the turnover, I am not ok with that.

What about if we go up the guts and get done on the rebound more often than not?

still ok

why cant this game be televised ?????

I mean this game is going to be bigger than any other of those matches in the NAB cup, and will probably
draw a bigger crowd than any of them too.

Can some record it and put the whole game on Youtube !

If channel 7 had the game and with their delayed coverage on Fridays we could all watch it in prime time.

For anyone who is going to the match, if Fev is kicking a few goals offer him a beer or a dozen to slow him down.

Pre game prediction.

Jamison on Fev. Bower on Brown. Our mids to take control. Forward line marginally less a shambles than last week and we win by 18 points.

Mind you, my predictions are always wrong. Hopefully we win by 48 points!

Hoiping to get to the game, but now stuck in the bloody Sydney office and not back until tonight. Hoping someone is going to step up and provide some commentary during the game for those less fortunate who can't be there! I don't suppose there is radio (online) coverage of the game that anyone knows about? Hope Henderson puts up something decent against his old mates. Love to see Jamo stop Fev as well.

SEN will have updates I'm sure but not proper coverage. Also look for coverage on ABC's Victorian news broadcast as the game should have wrapped up by then.

I'll endeavour to put up a score and quick bit of info on the game at the end of each quarter, and then a match wrap when I get home. Anything more frequent would be a pain in the arse as I try to watch the game pretty closely.
