A lot of people (including me) thought our boys looked great running around with the famous 'old' CFC on their chests. So here's a poll (and perhaps something we can all agree on?)

I think we should wear the heritage jumper for home games and an alternate jumper for away games

I think there is a push to wear it full time.

Loved that jumper they wore on Saturday night.

Best monogram in the history of the club.

Also think the Lions should wear their Fitzroy guernsey for their away games, ala the game yesterday.

That 'old' Fitzroy jumper is a ripper, too!!!

That jumper with that emblem beating a Collingwood that was so bereft of character they just wanted to lay down. Bloody loved it!

I like the thought that we should adopt the "old" CFC for season 2006 and beyond, as a way of putting the last few shit years behind us, and starting afresh.

The boys looked 10 foot tall and bulletproof in them!

agree 100%- the old carlton monogram stands bigger and more proudly on the chest. The new monogram is skinnier and not as bold.

Could you imagine Big Nick wearing a monogram that was skinny and full of holes between the lettering. I think not. The New York Yankees monogram is one continual piece of lettering - NYC... so should be the Carlton monogram CFC... the best guersney in the world - without a doubt.

Saying that - i have grown to like the new format and still think it is streets ahead of any other guernsey out there.

The old one definitely looks more intimidating, virile and powerful. Definitely has a certain je ne sais quois. The newer one, while I still like it, doesn't have the "soul" of the traditonal emblem.

Old monogram for me!!

We should just make it our clash guernsey, like Eddie's Black jumper with white stripes! :-D

I'd like to see our first draft picks wearing it next year. But, I'm not sure whether we'd have to get 2 new jumpers or 1. We'd save money with fewer draft picks.

Is any of this making sense? Either way, I like the jumper, and I reckon Marcus Drum will too.

Not Marc Murphy though. He's colorblind. He sees Blues as a beige colour.

Watched at 3 in the morning...I was hyperventilating and nearly crying watching that jumper run around.....had a flood of childhood memories flow over me!

I like the current one which looks more professional.

Thought I was going to be the only one for a long while there.
