What genuinely frustrates me is the fact that we started the season off unbelieveably well, and look like finishing in good nick, to say the least. We've been the most dominant @#$%&! side in the league for the last month, as far as goals kicked goes, and yet we're staring st a priority pick.

What the ?

I forgot to mention we played a brand of football for 15 weeks that was described by many commentators as the worst ever seen.

How do we as supporters cope with this? Just when there's nothing left to prove, Kade Simpson comes out of his shell, Brad Fisher and Jarrad Waite patrol the flanks with confidence and agression, Fevola is the hard working, reliable decoy, Carrazzo with some poise through the middle - what we've always wanted, and it makes us joyous again.

Carlton can be a side that wins games consistently. Denis has done something in the last few weeks, just after a supporter challenged him on-air at Optus during a television interview;

"Let em' run Denis, abandon the flood!"

Denis cracked it, but actually took that man's advice and bingo!

I believe Carlton have a good core of younger players to help take us forward.

We do require an injection of young talent, too, but I don't think we need a priority pick, that's for the losers, the genuine duds.

We don't want their @#$%&! handouts - we're Carlton!.

They [REDACTED] us two years ago and as far as I'm concerned I find it insulting for them to offer us concession players now - We don't need their pity, we have nutured a lot of good young players already, I feel, who may be closer to blossoming.

Let's stick their priority pick up their ass in a few years when the Navy Blues bring home a flag!

No one here would dare suggest tanking in the presence of a Carlton footballer, they would tell you to @#$%&! off. They are trying.

Next year could be big - Simspon, Bentick, Waite, Fisher, Betts, Thornton, Russell, Hartlett, Livingstone, Fevola, Carrazzo, Blackwell, Smith all vying to play for the Navy Blues.

And they would be proud of representing a great club like Carlton, and would not disgrace the jersey.

Go the blues.

We didn't start the season well and whilst we have improved the last month we haven't come up against any of the better sides.

Somehow I doubt that just because 'we're Carlton' that we'll get back into the top 4.
