Last night on Fox footy, John Elliot was on with David Parkin and they showed Fat Jacks speech after the 99 Semi final against WCE with the "Bombers cheated in 93" quote.
I know this topic has been raised before but the story is different to what was posted on TC.
When neale Daniher worked out Carltons centre set up and a solution, thwe story on TC was that a Blues fan found it but didnt pass it on to the club due to ethical concerns but then revealed all to Parkin.

The story Fat Jack told last night (This is also the story I heard) and Parko confirmed it was that Ashman was sent a copy of the Daniher memo before the GF and ignored it. Ashman was gone the following year.

If i remember the TC story earlier Parkin also confirmed the Carlton "fan" story. maybe he was covering for Ashman and calling him "fan" rather then staff

The Ashman fax story was basicly what Parkin said on ABC radio (last year?), except that he didn't name Ashman, just implied it was someone at the Club who should have known better.
