Good, but not great, which is a fantastic output first game back on a limited preparation. Hope I've covered it for you.

thought white played his best game of the year tonight aswell

Was better when he shut out Hurley. White has such a small range of opponents he can match-up well on and I think it hurts our defence as a unit, as well as through his inability to get a spoil in at 1-on-1 contests.

Just back from the game now at home watching the replay - wonderful

Got soaked but did it matter - not a problem

Sat behind the Bradman Stand goals with a bunch of Blues fans and as we started getting on top and yelling out the Cartlon chant - priceless

The cjub song finally playing at the SCG - about time

A huddle of us walking underneath the stands after the match on the way out at their ground singing "We Are the Navy Blues" over and over - fantastic

People outside the ground pumped and singing our song - never seen anything like it in Sydney

Saw the Blues last win in Sydney in 93 (in my early 30s then) and many Swans floggings since then. Actually haven't seen the Blues win live since 1997 - maybe seen a dozen matches in Sydney, Melb and Adelaide . Do you think I am stoked - YES!

Completely unrelated, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you made it onto last week's coverage twice?

Tonight is a night for feeling good. No media people tipped us. The conditions seemed to favour Sydney. We did it again, we dug deep when it counted and the result was a famous win. I am so pumped I can't sleep. Just back this performance up Monday week and we will be sitting very nicely and up and about. Great win Carlton!!

Haha, yes thrice actually in the end. The perils of having a front row seat. Too scared to to show any emotion in case you end up doing something stupid on TV

Loved that win!! It's nice to start laying some hoodoos to rest finally.

Interestingly Sydney will cry foul over the interchange penalty but lets not lose sight of what a shamefully one-sided umpiring performance that was, characterized by so many decisions that were given to Sydney for in the back, holding the man etc where identical situations for us were called play-on. And let's not forget a perfectly legitimate mark taken by Walker on the goal line that was paid as a free kick against him for @#$%&! knows what.

Sublime performance by Juddy. Some of the regular TC whipping boys like Betts, Carrazzo and Gibbs really got stuck in today, which was great to see.

And I have to admit that up until this season I have not really rated Jameson as a standout defender, but I must say over the past month he has shown me I have had him pegged all wrong. What a bloody incredible player he is now and imagine once he gets another 50 games or so under his belt.

First half was terrible.
last 30 minutes was the best we have played all year
We are the ultimate confidence team.
The best part about tonights win was everyone contributed.
Also playing Ohailpin was smart by the MC.
He had an impact

Did anyone else have a flashback to the final when Judd missed the running goal from 8m?

What a mighty player he is. Brownlow favourite and if we win 16.5 games as our "match ratio" (bring back "match ratio"! Worked for us in 1995) suggests he'll have many opportunity to poll. Loved his reaction after the game. If he wins a flag with (for) us I dare say he'll be a bit more fired up when he gets the cup.

Watching the players celebrate, they looked, for the first time, like a mature football team. A lot of players in the right age group 22-27.

Only concern as to how much stock to put in the win: Swans did seem to fall away badly in the last half, just seemed off the pace.

Oh and the umpires did help Sydney enormously.
