Once the finals are finished, things can really get under way for us.

Can't wait for draft day.

Bang, on the money PJ, except it will start a little sooner than that

Come next Monday 29th August, the focus is on plans for 2006 starting with the footy department. :-D

It's actually worse. In 02 we had a horrendous run of injuries.

This year, we're just shit.

Yep.

I get the feeling this Trade Period could be exciting for us.

Hopefully we snag someone of some talent.

ture but did three years ago were we the youngest list in the AFL?

sure we have been shite with virtually a full list all season, so there is a lot of deadwood and under performaing old timers but we now actually have some decnet kids on the list were are making marked improvement.

where were Walker, Waite, Simpson, Bentick and Carrazzo three years ago?

i think T-bird was the only decent kid coming through back then. and maybe Fev in patches.

also this year we will get the picks we were denied at the 11th hour, so it's not all bad.

I'm with you Bosman.

Let's hijack every lamentable thread with talking about fishing.

Bring on the red ones.

We were never ever going to dodge that bullet.
Were back where we were.. this time we have the picks..

Thats all!!!

The upside is the germs are almost all gone... or about to go...and we have replaced them with some kids.
Add more good kids to that and in a few years we will be back up there.

This is like going to the bank.. you deposit your money in a long term investment account.. youre not expecting it to double right away... but it will when it matures.

Consider this a deposit for the future...

Difference between this year and 2002 is we get to keep the steak knives this year.

Deep Sea Fishing hmmmm... Some Blue Eye also.

Or maybe we head down towards Bairnsdale/Lake Entrance some Bream.
maybe not what about Corio for some nice whiting.
The bay now i might get some baby snappers , but i haven't seen the Couta come through and when there's Couta there is always Snapper to follow.

Or what the heck up north we should go , nice little place just before cape Trib, Snapper Island , no snapper but some nice coarl trout.

Fly fishing now how good is that, active fishing, then again Cod fishing, take it easy kick back and check in the morning.

We could always go to Tassie, King Island or hey what about some nice King Fish in New zealand..

Oh fishing.... "Its a fine line that seperates a man standing on the pier looking like an idiot and one standing there fishing." :-D :-D :-D

Oh yes one week to go ...

Jason, the guy in the photo's tells me that this Thursday episode is a pearler. The only thing he would tell me is what they catch and how they catch them"
