and verbs???guess what???

We could have had Dal Santo too... cos we didnt have to trade pick 16 for Davenport which means they used that to get Hall.. and then traded thet for Dal Santo to Sydney...

So we lost that pick too... which meant we got Davenport and StKilda got Hall> Dal Santo.. and if you had any brains at all youd realise that leaves us even further behind .. and all of those stupid decisons in the past put is in a position where today Carazzo wont save us...
and we need more verbs...much more to catch up to years of neglect!!!!

You keep posting meaningless links to go with your meaningless posts :P

Tell me about Murphy... :?

What do you know about Murphy...what foot does he kick with?
Whats his pace like?
Has he captained succesfully?(Potential future leader perhaps or are we banking on Carazzo?)

And verbs???
Stkilda DO have Ball Kosi Dal Santo McGuire and Riewoldt.
Hawthorn DO have Hodge Franklin Mitchell and Roughead..........
Wheres our Voss Black Arkemanis Power Michael Brown ???... you need a few players like these to win a flag.. we dont have them do we???... how do you get them???

Oh you mean Carrazzo and Bentick???

wee i hate really pulling you up for being a fool!!!!!.. but can i help it???

Dal Santo was pick 12, McGuire was a second round pick, and Mitchell was a 30+ pick. Kosi is injuried all the time, and Riewoldt can't kick straight. Hodge has a limited impact on a game relative to the amount of possessions he picks up. Franklin and Roughhead have done absolutely nothing up to this point in time.

I can't be bothered going through the Brisbane players but from memory Black was a second rounder too.

These players hardly back up your arguements.

Murphy kicks with his right foot. He's pretty quick but not lightning. He's lately been having pletny of high possesion games without having a massive impact on the game. He's also very fairly small and will take a few years before he can consistently play and have an impact Senior footy.

Yes Dal Santo was a pick 13 not a 12.. and McGuire was a pick 20.. but what happend to our picks from that draft???Hint : Corey and Justin ..
And again those players only compliment the other players...the early picks.. and the recruits compliment them.. (Hammill Voss Gehrig) and they compliment the Robert Harvey...

But by pointing at McGuire who is not the main man... does not mean were going to find a McGuire.. we could have had McGuire but we traded those picks away... which now means were a long long way behind cos you have to add the draft penalties too...

So thats why we need early picks and the Carrazzos arent enough...

PS Murphy is playing injured....

I know cos i have seen his last 2 home games...

Verbs is right, you are funny :-D

Do you see us arguing that we should trade our low picks? Where did that come from? :-D

BTW, how often is the All-Australian CHB not the main man?
The All Auystralian CHB is not the main man when he playts for a club where he isnt the main man... at our club he would be the main man...

But then we dont have the rich talent list of StKilda do we ???

But then according to you.. Carrazzo is the next Ball.. and Simmo is the next Dal Santo.. and Kouta is Robert Harvey out there.. and Fisher is Reiwoldt .. hold on a minute!!!.. ours are better..

We have a percentage of 70 cos ummmmmmmmmmmm errrrrrrrrr.... well wait and see!!!... next year we will pick up more Carrazzos ...

Nah kids youre the funny ones... when youre finished in the sandpit can you give it a good rake???

For what it's worth I agree we have to get the best picks. But I still don't want to lose, but when teams belt us like that we have no choice.

Yeah you're probably right. Thinking in my drunken state I reckon we should have traded our highest comodity Fev for the future cause we will never egt the best out of him.

Yes it was meaningless and who cares ,but it was still terrible and embarrasing.

When Watson kicked that goal early and nobody was watching the mark I knew it was going to be another terrible day.Only Whitnall,Bentick can really hold their heads high.

I know it is early days but Walker seems lost at times while Bentick has the smarts. So much for the pp.

If Fevola continues to have games like that he will become the highest paid Bullant ever.I am a big fan of the Shag, but he was terrible in his attitude. He is not a leader and Pagan will win the argument in the end

Poor leadership once again and we need more guys who wont put up with crap footy. And we had a full list except for Sporn and TLo and they had a few out.

Even though it was a dead rubber big changes need to be made for us to move forward.Shithouse.At least my Daughter enjoyed the occasion.Dons supporter.

Everyone dont read too much into Whitnalls, and Campos good form of late. Doesn't it shit everyone that over the last month they decided to pull their fingers out and suddenly play well. Where were they when we needed them throughout the year. I am sick of them, and hope they do get traded. As for Kouta, dont get me started on him. I cannot wait until he retires. Only plays well when he wants to. I think the attitude over these so called senior players are ruining the attitudes of our younger players. Imagine watching Kouta, and Campo hang their heads, what hope do the younger players have. As for Fevola at least he shows some emotion, all be it a bit childish. As for leadership, why is it that no-one not even the coach doesn't tell Thornton not to sook everytime he gets out marked. He needs to remove that from his game because it is getting annoying seeing him get pissed off, especially when its to his team mates around him. We have absolutely no leadership, and I do hope Stevens becomes captain next year. I know he did not play well yesterday, but something tells me that if he is officially put in charge he will have a lot to say. I think he would hold back a bit at the moment out of respect for Kouta and Campo etc.

Agree with Frank we were pathetic and if you believe Denis which you have to we were not tanking which makes the performance worse.
Maybe Synbad is right we do need the PP and as many early picks as we can get and to be honest I dont have mutch interest in the Kangaroos game result now.
It goes against my principles but maybe we do need to drop the last game as that was a soul destroying performance and I walked out of the game with a lot of miserable Carlton supporters especially the youngsters who looked gutted...maybe if this is the system you have to get down in the gutter and play dirty...just to give those kids who left the game so down a bit of hope for the future..maybe a Marc Murphy or two can keep them as supporters...I dont like it but after that effort we need to do something....

Can you imagine the difference it may have made to some of our team if we had a Brad Johnson to set the example?

frank, I've always been pessimistic regarding Sporn and Wiggins. Sporn just doesn't have any urgency or sense of determination in his play. A leader like Brad Johnson may have helped in this regard, but he hasn't had it. Unfortunately Wiggo is probably the opposite, runs like a bull at a gate but doesn't have the composure or smarts, and neither player has improved in 2 seasons. A blend of their best characteristics would be one good player.

I'm not sure a huge turnover will make much difference, as you don't get the type of player we need in huge list turnovers. All it really does is provide more of the same. But perhaps a change is as good as a holiday?

You were exactly right about the young supporters took 2 young family Dardews yesterday to the footy and after being decked out in the whole Carlton kit were devastated by the performance - they have seen their side win one game for the year :? and seen performances against richmond the first time Essendon* and earlier game against Collingwood not much joy there
They love betts walker waite fevola but lets face it how much joy was there in the performance yesterday given some stupid old bloke told them we were in with a chance yesterday and stick with them as the future is bright !

Frank...my two kids were not surprised by the result but my sons words were "we'd better get someone good in the draft ...its embarrassing following the worst team every year" ...I really have changed my mind on the PP's and think its a neccessary evil..Collingwood are clearly playing for picks and I dont think we should be serving them up with any more talent and need to get in for our chop before they do.
Like I said on the other thread I hope we do get the priority pick and do something with it as there seems no other way..
