Just heard KB on SEN say that he will be talking to Colin Kinnear who will be leaving Optus Oval after nearly 40 years. I don't kknow if this is old news or not.
I am no longer near a radio however.

The clean out has started.

Col has given sterling service to the club, I wish him all the best for the future.

He has given nothing but his best for the club.
Thanks Col and enjoy the next phase.

He gave me a spray once in 2001 for questioning the recruiting of O'Reilly

Thanks for the great service to club. Successful football clubs are built around people like Col. Good luck with whatever you choose to do in the future.

One of the select band of AFL/VFL coaches never to have played at the highest level, when he took over Sydney Swans from Tommy Hafey in the late 80s.

A huge thankyou should go to Kinnear for giving a huge chunk of his life to CFC.
Whether you liked him or not his committment to the CFC cause is almost unparrallelled.
Thanks Col.

Col Kinnear was a passionate Carlton person. Sad to see him go, but he will be remembered fondly, as Ian Collins noted in that article.

Always had time for a chat did Col. A great Carlton person and very loyal and passionate servant of the institution known as the Carlton Football Club.

All the best for the future.

Sad that he's gone, he really was a great Carlton person as many have said before on this thread. He took me into the rooms for the Collingwood game last year, was great stuff and upon having a chat to him about footy it was apparent exactly how much he knew about the game. Best of luck in the future!

It's going to be interesting to see what all this restructuring is going to be in the coming months.

Well, this is what so many around here have called for... A bit of bloodshed... It is such a shame that Col had to be lost, a CFC man through and through.

Good luck Col. Hope the future turns out better than the 2002-2005 period!
