Hey Camel who did you make captain this week for dream team and how are you travelling so far?
Thanks to Bartel as captain I will be lucky to score 1800-1850.

I buggered up. After he scored 121 points last week I gambled on Kane Cornes. Shoulda left it with Johnson. I also lost Jess Sinclair, so you have nothing to fear from me.

:P

Ooh, just had a look at Kane Cornes' stats and with 32 possies he might go alright. But I'll be surprised if I give 1800 a nudge.

A long season that promised so much is now over.

Lets hope a team that hasn't won a Premiership for a while wins the GF (Not Saints of course !)

Marc Murphy come on down 8)

just thought i'd let you all know that fisher was taken to a hospital after the game tonight for what looked like a broken cheek bone. The right side of his face was really swollen, and he looked a bit sorry for himself.

and Digby, as you may have noticed, didnt come back onto the ground after healf time (i think) and looks to have a bit of a sore, perhaps fractured hand, he most lilkely wont be playing in the vfl next week

and french has a bit of a sore calf muscle apparently

Looked like it. He was pretty shaken up kicking the goal. His head seemed to hit the top of a Kangaroos players shoulder on the way down from his leap. Looked like it hit pretty hard.

I liked Gerard's call when the conversation got around to tanking:
"There's no way that the players tank. I've often wondered about administrations when you see some of the selections....."

And was it just me, or did Carey sound very much like he now has quite an appreciation for all things Old Dark Navy Blue? I think that when he eventually announces something on white line fever - it will be that he's stepping up for more time at the Blues.....

Carey has been talking the Blues players up all year.
They made an interesting observation about how everyone is saying how wonderful Thompson has been this season when he's kicked around as many as Fevola who has been roundly criticised by press and fans alike.
