Disagree - we let ourselves down. Nothing to do with the umpiring. We had a chances and didn't take them.

AJ has been a revelation.
Apart from the free gifts to WC..I still have the feeling we will win.

We can still win this. But at the moment our mids need to catch up with their publicity.

We picked a team that is based on winning the midfield battle. When we were, we were swanning it in.

Hope T-Bird is ok. If he is out we are in so much trouble. Love the big Setant but he has no class and while he is in the team we will struggle.
Come on lads do us proud in the second half and win the game!

How are your mates in red going Taff?

They are not my mates and I have both eyes open when I watch a game of football.

Unless Ratts changes things up, if he pulls a rabbit out of the hat here, I will hail him as a top coach, otherwise, just a guy getting par results.

What are some of the changes you'd like to see him make?

Obvious one, get Yarran into the game, either on a wing or up forward. I think this will happen.

I think Ratts is a good coach, but if he can get us out of this it will prove beyond all doubt he is a very good coach, as he will have to pull some moves to get the boys over the line.

Its a massive ask, missing 3 of our top 6 players, 2 of our most important talls. Alas, this is where teams can create their own history, if we pull this off everyone involved should be very proud of their efforts.

Yep, poor coaching from Ratts to not tell Army to take that ball with him too from Kennedy's kick.

Come on Ratts, how can you not tell our players to touch the ball?

Huh?

Kennedy plays forward. I'm talking about our forward entries, if you hadn't noticed the Eagles took mark after mark that quarter, as our structures fell over and plan B played into the Eagles hands.

You think Ratten is being out coached, I'm agreeing with you...poor coaching to not tell our players to touch the ball on the line.

If we win they'll find some bullshit excuse why WC were robbed. We're not brave.

And there's not much they can do about the frees, every @#$%&! time they touch them the whistle blows.

The AJ non-decision was the perfect exclamation point to that qtr. They'd be tearing the stands down if it were one of their players.

Umpiring is shocking. How can we compete with that?

Shame to give up such a good start. Have to forget about umpiring and get our hands on the ball first. They got too many centre clearances in that qtr.

Yarran needs to do something to inject himself in the game. Should Ratten give a run through the middle? Nicoski had the better of him in that qtr anyway, so some sort of change is needed.

We're doing well to keep Le Cras quiet.

Selwood doing well on Judd. But Murphy is going alright, just wish he converted all three of his set shots.

Still a lot of footy left and we're right in this. Hand on the ball first: DO IT!

Ideally, if finals they should just let them play.

I don't mind if they pay them. But they paid them one way that quarter, it's a simple as that.

Not open wide enough to see how poor the umpiring has been in this game.

You don't think Shuey should have been pinged for HTB? What about Joseph getting another kick?

You must have been an umpire at some level to show this sort of bias.

By kicking the easy goals so the umpiring doesn't matter.

So moving Yarran from half back where we need his run and drive, to a wing or half forward is the sole difference between him being a top coach and just getting par?

Thanks for providing some light relief.
