This was a line from Denis' final post match press conference. As usual he was very circumspect and played a very straight bat. He says we're 3 years in to a 5 year sentence. So I guess our expectations for 2006-07 should not be too high, regardless of what happens in the Wizzer next year. ;)

Like most of us here, we'll all be on board for the long haul.

GO BLUES!!!

There may be better days ahead but then again there may be a bit more pain to come.

But I think you'll all happily agree with me when I say

THANK F&@% THAT'S OVER

Couldn't agree more.... that’s the last time I want to go to the game without winning being the priority.... AGHHHHH.... there’s that word PRIORITY again!!

Heard Swan McKay mention on the ABC that Geoff Southby gave today’s game a miss coz he didn’t want to go to the footy without wanting the Blues to win….

1&4, 1&4, 1&4, 1&4, 1&4, 1&4, ….repeat it often and fast and it sounds like “wonderfulâ€

Gave the season some satisfaction to know were going to take another step towards rebuilding correctly.

I was glowing after the game then i went out and got sloshed!!!!... Moet

How many times have you woken up and prayed for the rain?
How many times have you seen the papers apportion the blame?
Who gets to say, who gets the work and gets to play?
I was always told at school, everybody should get the same
How many times have you been told, if you don't ask you don't get?
How many liars have taken your money, your mother said you shouldn't
bet?
Who has the fun, is it always the man with the gun?
Someone must have told him, if you work too hard you can sweat
There's always Murph's Son
There's always Murph's Son
Always, always, always Murph's Son
How many times have the weathermen told you stories that made you laugh?
Y'know it's not unlike the politician and the leaders when they do
things by half
Who gets the job, of pushing the knob
That sort of responsibility you draw straws for, if you're mad enough
There's always Murph's Son
There's always Murph's Son
Always, always, always Murph's Son

Some folks are born made to wave the flag,
ooh, they're dark navy blue
And when the band plays "Da-dada-da-dahhh",
oh, they point the cannon at you, Lord,

It ain't me, it ain't me,
I ain't no Fitzroy man's,
It ain't me, it ain't me,
I ain't no fortunate one, no,

Some folks are born silver spoon in hand,
Lord, don't they help themselves, oh.
But when the taxman come to the door,
Lord, the house look a like a rummage sale, yes,

It ain't me, it ain't me,
I ain't no millionaire's son.
It ain't me, it ain't me,
I ain't no fortunate one, no.

Yeh, some folks inherit star spangled eyes,
ooh, they send you down to war, Lord,
And when you ask them, how much should we give,
oh, they only answer, more, more, more, yoh,

It ain't me, it ain't me,
I ain't no military son,
It ain't me, it ain't me,
I ain't no fortunate one,

It ain't me, it ain't me,
I ain't no fortunate one, no no no,
It ain't me, it ain't me,
I ain't no fortunate son, no no no,
