But he crashed a few packs and has had 2 foot operations and as shoulder operation this year.

Like i said Deluca ... daylight .... more daylight ... the Bryan who needs a heap of work next year just to stay on the list beyond it.

One thing about Deluca is he goes in and at least attempts to be physical.
You cant have enough of that if youre Carlton.

Bryan plays 'bali' you cant touch me'

Carrazzo desrves his two years deal..worked hard and has been in our best nearly every week..prefer him in the backpocket than on the ball.

Scotland..dissapointed me for most of the year but has run into some form.
He is a front runner, receiver but has good disposal and a certain amount of footy smarts which we lack overall...with Campo and Lappin maybe not going to be there we probably didnt have much alternative but to sign him up for two years.

Deluca....been crap all year and vs the Kangas was woeful....Healy and Carey tiptoed around the edges when talking about him but basically said he was soft and didnt attack the footy hard enough....saying all that though there is something I like about him...sure he drops overheads and his ruckwork is shocking but I see an upside in him..his overall skill level and nous isnt too bad, he just seems to lack confidence to assert himself on the field..one year deal would have done me...just to make him want to go a bit harder..

Deluca vs Bryan....I was on the Bryan bandwagon but am dissapointed in his lack of constistent effort...no doubt he takes a better mark than Deluca and also can kick better but his clangar rate is very high and his ruckwork is equally woeful as Delucas overall.....I think both are competing for the same spot..Bryan's strength is his ability to get the footy wheras Deluca is probably more reliable when he does get it but doesnt get it enough...both of them need to have a good 2006 or one will have to go IMHO...

Have to agree with that. It’s harder for a big bloke to regain his touch after injury. Deluca will be a better player.

who gives a flying F**** if Deluca is better than Bryan. I could also say Bannister i sbetter than David Clarke because he can kick, but does that mean we should retain him on the list. If the rumours are true and we're getting Brogan for our third rounder, who needs Deluca? He's shit. 2 marks, and a couple of contests. I can't believe everyone is fooled by him. Sure, you'd rather eat chocolate cake than shit. Doesen't mean it is good chocolate cake though. :-D
BUt it is still "Chocolate, daylight, more daylight, than shit"
Bryan has a good kick at least.
Deluca has a good.... hmm.. i don't know. Synbad you want this club to go forward, but you see potential in guys like Deluca :( . This club will only ever truly be back when Deluca is out that door. Digby offers us more than Deluca...

I was there also. I've never seen the one bloke being smothered three times in the same game. Even Mitchell had a go at him at 3/4 time :!:

now MCB I think you've been eating too much cake, your sugar levels way way too high.

Bryan is a better ruckman, a better mark and a better kick than Deluca.

Bryan probably won't be good enough to make it as a ruckman, Deluca never will. Like Wiggins and Livo he just doesn't have it.

Funny thing is that last year early on, before his ankle started giving him problems, he was winning a lot of contested ball.

Perhaps deliberate change of role this year (as well as form loss)?
