1) Also Murphy's manager
2) Brisbane have been fantastic
3) Neither Carlton or Brisbane have offerred a 5 year deal, and they wouldn't accept one anyway.
4) Carlton have not given a definative indication that MM would be #1 choice
5) Denies emphatically the rumour that he and Fev were at Hawthorn together
6) Everyone is tradeable if the right deal comes along but expects Fev to be there next year
7) MM will be talking to his manager next week about the draft. Decision may be a while off yet.

*cough*... so Brissy dont get embarassed...

And yes a kid isnt interested in a 5 year contract....

To go to a club for a 5 year contract basically says youre not confident of a future...clearly CLOKE DOMAIN,..

But to show that were keen we would offer extended terms if we had to..

A caller also rang on the same programme and said he was at a restaurant and the Carlton selection committee came in and sat near him. He said they were discussing the swapping of Fevola and Goddard.

Why am I not the slightest bit worried about all this Fevola bullshit of late?

Normally with trade talk, I consider what could happen, what impact it will have etc. The talk of a Fevola trade just doesn't fuss me at all because I just know it's not going to happen.

I don't have any inside info, I don't know Paul Connors, I've never spoken to Fev. I just know it's not going to happen.

It's just radio noise, trade 'week' is an absolute farce. About 0.1% of all touted trades actually get done, of that 0.1%, 99% of them get done in the last 5 mins before 2pm friday. It's a joke.

So I hear the Fevola talk and laugh. He won't be traded this year, no way known. Based entirely on gut feel, and that's enough for me.

And when they stopped laughing at that one, what did they seriously say?
