Suprised Scotland polled so high and Carrots wasn't up a few spots.

Bit harsh on that young Waite fella!

Terrific effort to finish top five - it's tantalising to imagine what he might one day achieve with some more experience and consistency.

Well done Kouta on an outstanding performance. Well done also to the much-derided Lance and Campo finishing 3rd and 4th respectively. These three guys may be past their best, but it is clear that they still form the backbone of our club.

We will go forward as a club when our younger second-tiered players step up to the plate and take over from these three stalwarts. Well done Stevo, well done Waitey and well done Carrots. These guys are the future leaders of our club.

Wouldn't it be great to see Simmo and Bentick in the top 10 next year?

PJ, Scotland had a great second half of the year ever since he worked his way back from the reserves. He was amongst our best in quite a few of those games.

An interesting omission from the top 10 this year was Bret Thornton. He went backwards this year in my opinion.

Last year's winner didn't make the top 10 either.

Wasn't he like f**k**g injured for most of the year when he injured himself during the Wizard Cup. He came back far too soon from his injury also when he wasn't ready but we needed him.He didn't go backwards, different story if he didn't get injured and played most of the 22 games.

A big congrats to Eddie for winning his award. If he keeps the fire in the belly burning like a furnace and continues to train hard and do what DP says he'll turn into a top AFL player imo. Excellent pickup in last years PSD. Well done Hughesy & co. :)

Well done Koutaman you deserved it.
I thought Waite and Carrots would have finished higher, in fact I thought they would both be top 5.

What do you reckons Koutas Brownlow chances are eh?

I'm a little surprised that Stevo finished second. Thought Red, Waite and Carrots had better seasons. Stevo for sure in top 10 but not sure about second.

People must remember that the points are awarded by the match committee, not the fans.

They will take into account whether a player has done the job asked of him on any given day, which may consist of things that we don't see.

Well done to Kouta he deserved it .

Interesting that the four of the so called softcocks or Viagra squad finished in the top 6. Obviously the MC has a different opinion to most on this site.

Well Done Kouta.
I heard him say in his speech that he wants to taste the finals again, would this mean he's playing on in 2006 and if so would he still captian?
