No Carlton...this isn't the CEO.

Where is Malcom Blight when you need him. At least Blightly said the truth about pathetic Pittman.
Nothing against Warnock. He is just towing the party line.
But it makes you wonder. Why do we bother with player pressers.
Oh so @#$%&! boring.

I agree Keogh, I now switch off when ANY player is interviewed. It is the same crap time after time.

What I would of liked to hear.

We are crap at the moment.
Supporters should be angry.
If we don't pull up our socks quickly we will be out of here.
Our depth is poor and the senior players aren't standing up.
The opposition are picking apart our game style and we need to adjust
Lose this week and top 4 is gone.

At least Armfield and Joseph received some punishment. They had to go out to Nunawading Hyundai for 'Hyundai Monday' and talk to David Schwartz and Tony Schibeci. Agony. Should be more of it.

I was a public servant for a while...Ministers always delivered bad news. I wrote plenty of letters responding to angry constituents for Ministers...never signed by me...always the Minister. It's a saying, I know, but its not the reality.

Weird interview. All I heard was the young players who have come in need to put there head over the ball, then how Watson and Boots can hold there head up? Weird interview.

Setup reminds me of a Year 11 radio show I did in 1989 for a Media Studies project.

Sticks has spoken !

Carlton President Stephen Kernahan has strongly refuted suggestions in the media that the Club has, at any time, spoken to Mick Malthouse about a role with the Carlton Football Club.

“We have never spoken to Mick about a role here at our club,” Kernahan said today.

“We have had no need to as we have a mix of successful and knowledgeable coaches led by senior coach Brett Ratten.

“Instead of speculating on matters and looking for outside influences, and getting it wrong, it would be more appropriate to focus on the team’s poor performance. That is what everyone at the club is doing, looking at turning this around.”

Kernahan said the Club acknowledged the fact the team has been hit hard by injuries which had impacted on the performance and confidence in recent weeks.

“We have a number of our key personnel out injured, including the majority of our leadership group.

“However that is part of the game, it does not excuse Saturday night’s shocking performance,” added Kernahan.

In relation to comments by Eddie McGuire earlier today on Malthouse being a potential good fit for Carlton, Kernahan was direct in his reply.

“I think it is absolutely inappropriate for other club President’s to be discussing or speculating on Carlton Football Club matters.

“Eddie knows very clearly my stance on this matter. This is not the first time I have had to remind him to refrain from making such comments about our Club, I hope it is the last,” said Kernahan.

You've hit the nail on the head. UN-INSPIRING.

What do you want them to say?

They're belted if they're talking about top four and they're belted if they're not making headlines. I guess Sticks could have used the Nick Maxwell line "If you're not Carlton, then your opinion isn't important to us". That would make Ratten and the supporters confident about the coaching situation whilst they're under siege from supporters.

Or Sticks could have copied Eddie's inflated view of his wit and been insulting by saying Collingwood was the club of the Centrelink payment. Lets bring back the Jack Elliott attitude and put down opposition with insults that Eddie is too stupid to see as offensive.

Some of you are as bad as that ferret Damian Barrett.

Love it. Finally someone calls it as it is, without the usual "maybe this...probably that...tough week on the track etc"

Now's the time for Swann to show why Pratt rated him so highly. This can get out of control quickly, someone has to take charge and put the fear of God into everyone at PP.

Agreed on all fronts. Needed to be brought to a head otherwise this season will spiral into disaster territory. Some might say it already has.

The old line in the sand game. Would love nothing more for us to make a stand, have a great win and turn our season around. But our form has been horrible and I have serious doubts we can make it happen.

God help us if we put in another meek performance and get smashed.
