As mentioned in todays Hun.
Melbourne Storm are negotiating this week to play and train at OO in 06/07 during the redevelopment of Olympic Park.

Maybe they could teach us how to tackle properly.

They have previously brought in other Rugby players to teach AFL players how to tackle.

Problem is it has no real impact on AFL, probably because Rugby is face to face, where as AFL is 360 degrees.

Having played rugby growing up in NZ, and two largely forgettable games of footy here - I can report that rugby tackling DOES translate well to footy - it's my ONE redeeming feature on the footy field [well. that and my closing speed on the boundary line when dragging myself]

Having said that, there isn't such a premium on keeping your feet in rugby

A mate of mine tried out to be a Storm girl but didn't make it because she was too tall.

She goes alright too.
