1 tagging job. McLean to sit on Boyd. Will be able to match him and Boyd starts everything for the Dogs. If he can't get first hands on the ball they are in trouble.
Why would you tag Boyd? He will get it 35 times and turn it over 10+. He'll get around 10 clearances but they will be Nick Maxwell "throw it onto the boot without looking" style clearances. I'd love to see Boyd play a sacrificial negating game every week like the job he did on Judd last year - we would be a far more effective team if we did.
Griffen is the only player anybody bothers to tag in our team. Even Dahlhaus is getting close attention now, but Boyd hardly ever does because the opposition love seeing the ball in his hands and not Griffen's.
I know Carlton is struggling at the moment, but we are GWS standard right now. We have no skill, we are one-paced, we move the ball at a snail's pace, we have no tall forwards of note, we have no small forwards to pressure the opposition defensive rebounders, we have a game plan that makes it impossible for us to score and easy for the opposition to score against us. In short, we are garbage. I couldn't care less about the result this weekend or for the rest of the year. I'm just looking forward to the day when Smorgon retires, Garlick is replaced and Fantasia has his arse kicked out of the kennel for good. Only then will we start to improve on and off the field.
Shivers and I thought we were the only fans who wanted our President, CEO and Recruitment Manager out
