people dont believe the shit you are reading or listening to about Brendan. The media have to write negative stories there is only one Victorian team in the finals making nothing else to write about.

Like Glen Bowyer said last night on the Blues club corner it so disapointing that the media only report on nagtive stories. He said the blues do so much for the community visiting hospitals, fund raisers but the media only report the negative things like some one breaking curfew.

Brendan is a contracted player and is required Ian Coutts said last night on the blues club corner. He also said Carlton have never said he will be the face of Carlton and that he does not get a massive slice of the marketing allowance. Carlton refuse to respond to such crap written in the papers along with Fevs manager, you have to under stand Brendans so called non future at Carlton will sell papers for another 4 weeks untill trade week is done with.

Carlton would be stupid if they did not talk to other clubs about a possible trade what if Eagles offered Judd and a pick or the Tigers offered Couglan and Nathan Brown. Every one is tradeable even Chris Judd and im sure the eagles come trade time do see what they can get for a Judd.

So once again dont believe the media beat up like Couttsy said we have another 4 weeks of this crap cause unfortunately there aint nothing else to write about.

The media is evil.
Were stronger than that.

Eagles lose granny, kick 8.17 to 11.1

Fletcher gets Norm Smith in a losing side....

Judd gets reported in first 3 mins...has a shocker

Fev traded for Judd (plus a pick!?)

Well we can dream can't we...  :o

I have calmed down a bit from my reaction to the reported remarks attributed to Fev at the B+F. I still think it is inappropriate for a player to make remarks like that about a club champion but it can be soon forgotten.

Fev can still be an absolutely awesome player and perhaps an impending marraige might straighten him up a bit. Regardless, Whitnall is way before him in the pecking order of players to trade out of Carlton and we simply cannot afford to release both of them or even Fev before Lance. Fev has substantially greater updside and Lance I think has no more to offer.

Interesting to hear Parko this morning on SEN give his thoughts on Fev. I have stopped taking all his remarks as gospel but he was adament that players with characters like his are detrimental to forming premiership sides. Lacks leadership qualities and as we all know that if Britts had his way (and Parko fully supported Wayne's decision) Fev would be long gone!

AFAIC, it is not the right time for Carlton to be considering trading Fev

you can dream - but a dream like that usually involved some sort of fluid release

Indeed. If anything Coutts's word on any given matter is akin to giving the verbal 'full support of the board'. The bloke is an absolute spin master, and frankly, I find much of what he says to be acutely condescending and insincere. I can't listen to that horrid Club Corner thing - it's just laid on too thick for the nuffy, lowest common denominator supporter that will swallow anything, and I feel nothing but insulted by it.

I'd also doubt very much that he's kept privy to all the thoughts of Pagan and his his staff, too. I would imagine the football department work on a need-to-know basis with Coutts, until such time as things are ready to be made public. Until then, we're treated to his endlessly-scripted PR waffle.

For what it's worth, I'd say Fevola will most probably be kept, but the club will listen very hard to offers in the meantime. Personally, I'd be happy to see the back of him, as his mercurial talents are wasted on us - we need honest footballers at this juncture.

Word is that Denis has had enough of Fevola dont be suprised if he is
in fact traded.
Fevola in my opinion is a wasted talent that might be better off
at another club and the club might be better off with a different type of
player.

I don't mind Fev being traded, but we have to get a great deal for him. A player and two 1st round picks. What did Geelong do for Ottens?

Body language aside the man has kicked 63,66 and 50 goals in three years from club positions of 15th, 10th and 16th. The last year being injury laden.

It frustrates me seeing him do what he does, but I think we're all a bit Fev concious. We did our best when we didn't rely on him and the goals were shared round.

I love Parko but Parko is biased in his view of Fev. He couldn't get a result out of him, and has expressed his frustration about that in the past, so he is biased.

All we can do is let things take their course, and if he goes the club must get a good deal for him, which may be why they negotiated a contract with him, I'm sure

please dont trade fev he is the future of our club. he is the man to carry or club forward. its like ablett seniour with the cats he had his problems but when they said enough get down to the footy he came right i think this is the case with fev. i remember watching the interview with fev on footy show how he was at the make a wish foundation dinner this show that fev is a good bloke who trys to do the right thing my himself and the club. he is and elite talent why would we trade away our most key forward, the forward who kicks more goals than anyone else at the club, he is a premiership and 100 goal forward in waiting? we are willing to trade away our #1 star for someone elses second tier players. fev should be a carlton player for life.

everyone is over re-acting. Fev is going no were what would all the kids that have number 25 on there back it would be like explaining to a child that there grandmother has gone to a nice place to rest.

Fevola will kick arse next year with Lance by his side. Lappin even though he is disapointed about his contarct negotiations he should not have let his team mates down on the field.

Fev has hhad groin problems could you imagine if we didnt play fev the last six games the hole tanking would gone out of control.

Listening to Terry Wallace on White Line Fever, I get the feeling that the Fevola trade is out there in AFL club land. Didn't deny Richmond weren't interested & said if Gehrig retired the Saints would be a more likely fit.

The Fevola trade may not happen, but it also might, personally I can't see Fev being at Carlton next year, considering how strong the talk is.

Can anyone really see him putting his head down with this much talk around? On the other hand maybe marriage will make him a changed man?

Don't mind me, I'm just twiddling my fingers until the end of trade week.

If we could trade Lance AND Fevola for two gun midfielders I'd do it in an instant.

I'd rather have a chance of getting the ball forward repeatedly than for the few times we do get it into forward 50 only to have it bounce right back again.
