Correct Tyrant, The board is a voluntary position. They are not paid, and they can be members of any other board.

Oh, and Ironically, both collo and Ahmed have their paying jobs right across the road from each other. Might have to keep my eyes peeled.

Seriously I saw him interviewed on TV a couple of months ago regarding some fraudulent activity at the bank and he spoke very poorly. He was totally out of his depth and looked very silly.

Still he must have some skills to get where he has.

He made a speech at the NAB Rising Star and made a goose of himself..not media savvy enough in my humble opinion...Eddie McEverywhere is in another time zone to this bloke...not presidential material!!!

Been told that he is a wanker. Claims to have played with two players (who both went on to play 1sts footy) in the under 19s, but they never played together.

Some suspicious admin staff did a check on the records and there is no record of him having played with us despite his claims he did. Aparently when he tells the stories of who he played with and who he trained with it doesn't ad up. Feeling around the club is that he is dreaming, and a real wanker (the best description). Others descibe him as an out and out liar.

Sorry to spoil the euphoria. We do need someone to replace Collo, and it's not Graham Smorgon (God forbid), but we need a person of character. Just because he runs a big bank does not make him a person of character. Remember, Jack ran some of the biggest enterprises in that country.

As David Parkin often says - recruit character first !!!! (Ok he could have listen to himself a bit more at times!)

Mirrors exactly what I was told by a very senior person in the Financial Services industry who I respect a lot as a person. Said Ahmed is arrogant and not a very nice person at all. Probably ties in with the fact that he has made his name in business by sacking people.

I'd hope that you know him VERY well because you just assasinated this guys character in one post.
I'd hate to think you attack someone this hard based on gossip, rumour and innuendo.

In my humble life experience these types of people are usually the worst kind. Tend to have their priorities completely out of whack.
