whitnall without a doubt.

all about attitude, lance may be larger than some others but i rather someone giving 100% as he does than someone who gives 50% as fev does

Fevola to richmond for their first round pick + change.

Lance to Melbourne for their first round pick + change.

If our recruiters can't make something out of picks 1, 4, 8, 12 and 20 (plus any others that come out of the change) - even in an "even" draft - then sack the lot of them. There are great players in every draft.

Play the kids Hawthorn style and let the chips fall where they may next season. Next year will be the best draft ever and nobody will be trading away first round picks so we may as well be at the head of the que.

Fair two year offers to Lappin and Campo in that order.

I agree NC you should piss them both off for deals you describe.

12 + Ferguson would be an excellent deal for Lance

Lappin & Campo 2 x $250K as posted elsewhere.

Keep Fev for at least another year.

I've been over Lance since last year.... and he's done nothing this season to make me change my stance. Sayonara Big Red!

I agree with everything but the last sentence.

I think it's too late for Lappin & Campo.
The club needs to make a statement to the footy world that from now on they will accept nothing less than a elite professional standard.

You're probably right. I think Lappin is the the player we've screwed over the most. I think we were paying Kouta, Lance and Campo so much that we probably never paid him what he was worth from 2001 - 2004 when he was our most consistant player and an All Australian once (and should have been in 2001 as well). And he showed loyalty to the club. Consequently, I have no qualms with moving along Lance and if needs be delisting Campo (cause I don't think we'll get a trade for him) if it means we can free up enough $$ to pay him a fair two year deal that will maybe give him some of the security he's looking for.

If after making a deal for Lappin, there's still enough $$ for a base salary deal for Campo then fair enough. But really, if he plays on he'll only be taking a kids spot. Simmo blossomed when given game time in the midfield after Campo was moved to the back pocket. I don't want Russell's development slowed as well by having Campo taking up his spot for the next two years.
