Prenders is an interesting player.Imagine if you had the combo of Prenders and Houlie, the tenacity and the skill combined to produce a superstar.

Since a fine debut as a large flanker in the finals of 2001,Prenders has shown plenty of ticker, but the skill of a Colac Imperials Reserve player on the turps.

The topic of choice at the moment is who we delist and the prenders has been mentioned.I say keep him.I have always thought he would make a good fullback.Plenty of body and muscle .Not like your wimpyThornton and Livo types, but dont let him kick the ball back in.

DP has played this guy out of position since he got there in 2003.He reminds me of a Presti at Collingwood.I remember a game at the dome where Prenders played on the one and only Richo and aquitted himself well.Sometimes I really wonder about DP and whether he knows our list or not.Dont play the man on the wing where he will turn the ball over at will.Get him in defence and just stop a marking option.

Please keep the Gast.Every club needs a guy on the list who is all guts and no skill and maybe, just maybe if Houlie,Norman and Davies are on the list in 2006 they will look up to this guy and say to themselves.@#$%&! maybe I can achieve better in this game

The first delisted, surely? Followed by:

Bannister
Davies
Johnson
Sporn
Norman
and possibly even Wiggins

assuming none can be traded.

Diggers, McGrath and Teague can count themselves lucky.

Agree with Nightcrawler, Denis please end the carnage.
Livo is the luckiest bastard in the AFL, pick four or not.

Livo may have been injured a bit ,but he looks puny against most Full Forwards.

Hartlett and Kennedy will take the big boys in future, leaving the third tall to Livo who he'll be more than big enough for.

Livo put a heap of bulk on this year.

As for Prenda, the full back idea has merit - but he seems to be going nowhere fast.

Big chance to be gawn!

Prenda's only strength is his endurance.

And how much does a full back run?

None of his football skills - kicking, marking, handballing, tackling, rucking are up to standard.

His running is above average.

That is all. So let's trade him to the Australian Institute of Sport.

Some of those would be contracted for next year.

Not a bad idea. We could use her to spearhead a Bluebirds revival.

Kouta is the reason why Carlton had salary cap problems in the first place. Greedy person with no pride. Someone who gets 15 possessions and says " I did ok today", not someone that says "with the salary i get, and with my ability i will need to get 25 - 30 possessions per game". Don't you all have these people at work who do the barest minimum, and then those who work their butts off for personal pride. Same thing.

as for prendergast. we needed a person of his size to fill a defensive role for years, and he simply cannot do it. he is a tall strong player who cannot play key possession if his life depended on it. get rid of him. not up to afl footy.

Interesting, I was under the impression he would just be happy to get another contract.

Doesn't our previous administration have something to do with this also by allowing back-ended contracts to this scale? Don't think the faults is entirely Kouta's.

Greedy?? No Pride??

I don't know. I remember Kouta in his peak was an awesome site to behold and I get the feeling that maybe his body doesn't allow him to reach those heights anymore...

Prenda doesn't have the awareness to play in the backline. Also he takes too long to kick and would be caught too often. I reckon some of the engineers in the middle ages wars would have loaded up a catapult quicker than Prenda can load up a kick!!! I look back on his early days and remember some good games - but he was in a good team then as well.

Carlos has been playing only a couple of years and his kicking is much better.

Isn't he part of our 'leadership' group?

Prenda = Merrington with stamina.
