Davies got two weeks for both striking offences in Saturday's VFL prelim. Reckon he can count himself lucky.

So Davies will miss the first four weeks, only matters if he's still on our list in 2006. He'd be one of the nervous baker's dozen, don't think these suspensions will help his cause.

It may not matter, but given that the supsension was imposed at VFL level, can the sentance be served during the Wizard Cup?

Will the suspension still be effective in the Diamond Valley League next year?

Deserved four weeks for the first punch alone. Anyone know how many activation point he would of got in the AFL?

Behind play
Mid Contact
Intentional
Prior history

Total 1000 activation points = 12 weeks.

For suspensions, or doesn't count, full stop?

He wouldn't have been helped by the fact that the bloke he hit looked like he was made of crepe paper. I've never seen someone spend 1/2 a game on the bench after a pretty average whack to the guts. I've been on the receiving end myself while playing footy, and it doesn't take that long to recover from even a bad winding.
