ahh verbs you're like this tree that grew at the back of my old primary school. It seemed a normal tree, really it did, but it grew these poid things, and when you spat on those pod things and then stepped on them the most God awful stink came spewing out. You remind me of that tree, those pods and that stink.

Ah danny, you remind me of this lemon tree we had in our back yard, scrawny little thing...then, someone pissed on it, and it suddenly became as big as an oak tree...well, that's what the lemon tree thought anyway.

least I don't stink, and lemons are nice in many ways and there was that great song and i'm in lots of gardens and I soothe a sore throat and keep away colds but this tree, don't even have a name that anyone bothers to learn 'cept stinky tree that grows behind the dunnies at the back of the school - we all knew which tree it was though and we all knew to avoid it except when we wanted to create a stink.

oh and thank you for calling me skinny....

It is a bit late to do any pruning.

jar jar i wondered when you'd pop in 8) you can prune a lemon tree anytime
we lemon trees are a hardy lot and the ripening lemons dangling in the shiny green foliage just kinda make you smile don't they.

Piss doesn't stink?

Lemons don't taste sour?

You'll be an oak tree one day danny! All you need is a few more people to piss on you...and they ain't gonna be telling you it's raining. Then you'll be a "big" man...regardless if you're "skinny" or "fat".

neither skinny nor fat verbs but keep trying, as for the sour, well its true but gees if you don't know the difference between sour and stink you need to get out more.

see oif someone said i was bitter - I'd work through that, try to reason why but to stink, well to stink is just to stink and its going nowhere except to stink.

To stink or not to stink

i'd rather not to, even if that meant I was a sour old fart.

you on the other hand have embraced the stink. so tell me, before typing so you spit on your fingers and then stand on them?

For an academic, your typing is terrible. I'd go as far as to say...it stinks.

Your reasoning...it has little merit. When challenged, you avoid discussion and resort to petty put-downs shrouded in pseudo, poorly phrased, error riddled prose...which really stinks.

And, to quote someone, "gees" -- if you can't comprehend when someone is saying you are sour after you said they stink...well, that really, really stinks.

thats why I'm hard to digest

and tommi you been pissing on me since day one 8)

as for aeiou well gosh I guess I should start up my own website and get all that typing practise I need (cos you know spelling on this forum is so darn important so knitpickers can follow the plot without running to their dictionary). Funny how people wanting to attack me always resort to the prose thingy and the spelling thingy, aeiou, the thing with Synners is that when he labels he is so spot on it is scary, that bubble thingy and you, gees that was a good get.

try discussing rather than pontificating from a wobbly fence and you'll see that most of us aren't a bad lot, but we do come here to discuss, to sprout views and hairs and meet each other - you really should try it, this is a community full of all the hot air to be found in any community, but hot air is good, it rises the spirits.

see nowadays when I go to the footy I may see the Prez over there and give him a nod, share an ale with CK or Bluehammer and wait for PJ or Bluemark to wander in. Mrs C will be there smiling and hoping I don't embarass her, so will Chief and Caz of course lost in the mist of watching the lads.

This is a community, like all communities we babble on about lots of things and yes most of it has little relevance for the club but we are not here for the club but for ourselves. We understand our thoughts are not the club's thoughts, but we'll have them anyway, its just when some people try to get all uppity and wish to denigrate that it gets a bit messy, but then that's a community too hey aeiou. Some day at some game we should meet and share an ale - who knows we may even like each other.

The stinky tree thing was an attack , too true, mainly I guess because you ahve a way of banging the keys (all so correctly eh aeiou) that comes across so distanct and cold and condescending that it just irks me, like poeople you know, certain people just rub you the wrong way, or some keys get hit when your trying to spell a totally different word, things just go that way sometimes.

But anyways, we should meet up, buy a beer or whatever and have a chat. Its really what this site is about. faces to names and all that. Its why i came back after thinking I might be finished because for a time it was not fun, its the people, not the tryping that I enjoy.
Though T seems to have avoided me.

and Mike and Dan never say hello anymore

and tommi

well tommi's pissing on me again.

and T you can eat lemons, like kissing your wrinkled old auntie, it can be done.

Look danny. See. Ahh...all this "community" babble, it comes down to there being two different aspects -- the online aspect which is completely separate from the Melbourne aspect.

It's so easy to make assumptions about those you only know via the online aspect, and that in itself is a unique "community" but is very very different from social, day-to-day interactions with people you know.

So what if I'm a cold character? Indeed, if that trait is somebody scares you in day-to-day life then do doubt you run away from it, and hide in your own little bubble.

If you choose to visit a website though, you just have to put up with it. See, that's where an online "community" differs from the Melbourne "community". You can hide from people you dislike in Melbourne, and you can't on here. So you and Synbad can keep coming up with childish names, and bubble lables, and rant about people having a go at your spelling, and how I'm cold and condescending, if that's what it takes for you two to get by.

I'll do my thing, you do yours.

It's the internet. Welcome to the 21st Century.

Should I be moving this to TalkingSocials?

While it has been fascinating, please get back to arguing about the footy.

but all communities (even those involving you) rely on a person's goodwill.

Oh and i assure you i wouldn't run away aeiou - its that silly celktic blood in me.

and Mrs c you are quite right but gee its been fun remembering that stinking tree and this picture now of tommi on the verandah - well how do i explainto my 8 year old why i am sitting here pissing myself laughing?

as for the football well i still think our best & fairest stinks...too....

Oh and that's the point aeiou, we meet each other face to face. This key thing works for me a whole lot better with people i have met - apart from tommi of course.

Haha...danny...how ironic, you talking about goodwill. All it requires is a scan of this thread to get the picture.
