seems like over the next few weeks of speculation it gets down to whose source(s) is the most credible.....

for all the chest beating on here about "i know better than you".....

either one source is more reliable than the other or certain TC posters are seen as 'set ups' by the source of information.

confusing? not really. Maybe feeding TC a line is the same as feeding the sharks like Caro.

I can't wait to see what unfolds over the next month.....one thing is for sure it is always going to be a little different to all the chest beating.....

lets face it, the real tragedy will be if any TC source stories are true then we do have a sad club. Why would any smart person or club share the game plan mid stream of negotiating unless of course they had an agenda

won't let lance do it.... Lance is in defence, if we have someone trying to stop Lance, then that's GOOOOD!!! How many people try to stop Teague? How many try to stop Thornton? Fact is we have no-one generating play in defence.. we all thought Thornton could,, but he's not as good as Lance at it.... Lance could be one of the best rebound defenders in the game, a skil lthat is becoming very very important.. why.. because the game basically now revolves around the midfield, as you so aptly put it.. key forwards are shut down not by key defenders but due to the midfield not working, the game is evolving, and now there is a need for rebound footy.. more than there ever has been.. Lance could and will be a champion at this.... this year we saw him close to full flight, next year he'll show the football world just how good he really is..

More will be revealed after Tuesday's meeting, I suspect. But if they want to trumpet the re-signing of some of these "key" players, Grand Final week's not a great time to get centimetres in the paper. Then again, there's no Vic teams playing ...

anyway, enough of that. My main point in my post was that if in fact all the rumours that people like your good self contribute are true (which i appreaciate reading), perhaps the club is in a sad place.

I think the club is in a very weak position, if in fact it is prepared to share its position on any recruitment strategy with caro wilson, jim wilson a TC poster or whomever.

Unless thay have a motive for disclosing, then surely our position of power at the negotiating table continues to weaken.

In case you havent noticed the club DOES share its strategies with the media these days....

There is not much cutting edge happening.

If i useed the words "cutting edge" it doesnt conjure up thoughts of the club... and thats beginning to worry me...

agree synbad, if in fact everything that we read in the press is right and everything in here is right......then we have lost the game.....

silence is golden in my books.......if we have used the media with so called purpose only to back down, then man we are more than blunt.....and just maybe we were never sharp (or was that cutting?)

Well he'll have to be because if we get rid of Fev, Lance will have to singlehandedly keep the opposition scoreless to make up for the loss of talent in our forward line.

In this case Pagan might be not wanting another bad year blighting his record.

In my opinion the buck stops with the board.. they signed Fev up... the signed Denis up and will ratify any new contracts for LAnce and also rubber stamp what happens to Skinny.

In my opinion were undecisive al;l the way through the club.

There are murmurings on the board about Denis but they signed him.
Some board members want Fev gone.. but they just signed him.

Theres a breakdown somewhere..

It smells of a club without a long term plan...

A club that knows not whjat it has to do.

The problem is noone gets judged in 5 years ... everybody will get judged in the short term so everyone shirks long term responsibility.
