Getting a bit sick of these players wanting x amount of this and that. The Blues are in no position to be handing out long term contracts and big money

The senior players mystify me.There is no way they are going to play in a flag at Carlton the 30 year old or somethings so why would you stay for more money rather than play for an Adelaide for one year for a small amount of cash but a possible premiership medal . If they want too much then piss them off, get a reasonable trade and move on.
Whitnall and the Fev are a different kettle of fish but they need to realise the financial position of the club and take the advice of Big Nick and put the club first.Brisbane won 3 flags doing this.

I know footballers have a short life ,but even still they are over paid in my view for what they do.

The club should stand firm with Whitnall.I would like to see him at the blues but if he wants 400000 then piss off Lance.

It might sound old fashioned, but I still think that players need to signal their intentions that the jumper they wear is numero uno and if the players hold out for too much money that the club can't handle at this time ,we dont want them .The club will be better off in the long run on and off the field.

My problem is some of them want to be compensated for wearing the navy blue jumper with contracts worth hundreds of thousands of dollars and multi term....

Thats living in lala land....

could we find a way to fit tanking, Marc Murphy and overpaid players holding out for better deals into one "Uber Thread". That would be way cool!!!!

You also have to add the "I know better than you" attitude, and liberally drop into the posts that you've been talking with the board/VP/CEO/bootstudder etc.

Aaron Hamill is a top bloke
Livingston is a hack
Wiggins should be kept
Houlihan goes in too hard

There, that should give this thread the kick along it needs.
