Love how you put words in my mouth Synners.

Think I said that I like Aka as a player and how I would like a player like Aka at the club and would have no problem if he played at Carlton. Didn't actually say we should chase him. particularly as he was/is never going to leave Brisbane.

But then you are very Rumsfeldian in your approach. Make stuff up and keep repeating until it becomes accepted truth.

Nahhh.. not only did you say we should get Arka.. but you also called Nick Sautner "a gun"....

and you said we should have traded our first rounder last year
"we have enough kids"
Want to find that post tripper???

Look in TBV and come back with it....

If you come back empty handed youre a big ger %#@wit than i thought.. ok?

Now on your way and find where i said we have to trade away a first rounder... I would never say that Magicmushroom kid.

DOA,

Not my views, simply restating what was said by a member of the coaching panel.

I'm happy to discuss further with you privately if you like, including where, when and who said it?

regards

Ockham

Synbad,

It was a genuine offer to DOA.

I wouldn’t expect that you’d understand.

You are the most disingenuous person that I have ever come across.

Given that you have a solution for every situation you must be the most successful business person in Australia. Alternatively you were probably a gun footballer or coach.

Alternatively you might actually just be a supporter with a computer, internet access and a huge attitude problem.

What was wrong with my offer to DOA? It has nothing to do with you, but yet again you choose to buy into a situation with cheap, pointless comments purely designed to inflame.

Will you ever realise that people on this forum all have the same goal – too see the Blues as a power house again.

Clearly you don’t accept what I said in my original post because it differs in parts to what you have said previously. That doesn’t make my post untrue. I have restated in the original post, in good faith, what was said to me last Tuesday by one of Carlton’s coaching panel.

Should I not have posted it because it is different to what you have said? I thought it was worth posting in order to give all of us an insight into what 1 member of the coaching panel had to say – simple as that.

In order to be successful a range of views and opinions is required. If we followed your “my view is the only viewâ€

I am just wondering if we could draw up a list of

'Those who Synbad has managed to piss off  '

It would be some roll call.

How about "who hasn't Synbad pissed off", might save a bit of storage space

Getting back to the original post - a great insight into what the coaching staff are thinking.

I can't believe Norman's season was written off because of one bad half. If you follow that logic through the whole team should have not played for most of the year. EVERYONE had a bad half at one stage or another - SOME HAD NO IDEA ALL OF THE TIME!!

The whole Karl Norman situation is very strange - if he was so bad and doesn't have the application why wasn't he delisted with Clarke????

You shouldnt get defensive mate!!
When you put up a post like that you must have thick skin....
No good saying "I dont get defsnsive Synbad".. next thing youre all defensive..

I actually liked your post.. and i encourage people who hear something to post it.. thats what makes this thing work....

I didnt have a go at you... but you did have a go at me.

Tonight is the night when the future of this football cluyb is shaped,,,

In reality just because you posted something a member of the copaching staff has told you does not mean thats whats going to be voted for tonight.. and anything i have said was a personal twisted agenda...
Because thats simply not true!!!

I wont have a go at the club because i "was lying and am now lying to defend myself".. you dont know ,me... you dont know who i know.. and you dont know who i received that information from....
Because you went along to a thinngy with a guy who was addressing a group of people./. *even though that guy could have a heap of clout*

Everything is dynamic... things change!!!!

OPne thing is for sure.. if the club dont stick to their guns theyre weak and we will suffer for it.

If i bag them im not doing it so i can be 'right'.. its because i love my club and i reckon after 3 years of nothingness we deserve a direction.. just like i was told we do...

I dont care if you dont like me or my style ..... i dont post for you..
I post stuff because i believe Carlton supporters should know what the club is at... and the days of John Elliot when everyone was a mushroom should be way behind us now.....

Some of what i say has a source,, some is an opinion.. some is both...

But dont get all defensive when youre questioned after you just told me i was a liar buddy!!!

I have faith the club will come through with everything that they DID say would happen.... and tonight is the draft for a TRUE BLUEPRINT into the future.....

Not a compromise that cheats us of a Brave New World....

Just curious, if Karl was written off after his 2nd half of rnd 3 vs Collingwood, why did he play 2 more games?

mind you, it became evident as the season wore on that he was out of favour.

I agree Heady.
Karl signalled his own demise OFF the field.
