im as positive as positive can be that Collo has no role on the MC.
In fact noone from the boartd should have any kind of role on the MC.

Sticks get out of that role will you?????

I'm yet to work out why everyone's so freaked out about what's going on. It appears there are conflicting reports coming from different sources within the club. Big deal. If we can't work out what the @#$%&!'s going on then it's fair to say we haven't given too much away at this stage.

It's quite possible there are conflicting opinions at board/match committee level and that's fine. We elected them - they make decisions. Give me debate over a dictator any day.

I'll assess what I think of this trade/draft period when it's over. I'd like to see Lance & Campo traded if the offers are there and I'd like to see Lappin accept a two year deal but I'm going to judge the outcome of this off-season based on the total package and I'll be happy if we find a minimum of 5 long term players for the club. Obviously Marc Murphy's one and pick 4 should be another. If we can add a minimum of three others to that list then I'll be happy.

If Lance doesn't go then at least we'll be saving a minimum of $150K less than he's currently on and if Campo stays then at least he'll be on a minimum of about $300K less than what he's currently on. That's a $450K saving and whilst it's not my preferred option it's a darn sight better than the way things are now.

If we get 5 long term players I couldn't give a rats clacker whether Campo etc are still there. They'll be gone soon enough anyway. Our position is still improved.

If we can find 5 players this year and 5 players next year then we'll be on our way back. That's no easy task but it seems smarter to assess when we know what's happened rather than before anything's been committed to.

(PS: That's a "net" 5 long term players - if we trade Fev for one long term player then that one doesn't count whereas if we trade a Lance or a Campo I don't consider them long term players so that does.)

If so then so be it.

If the club sticks to the two year line then I'm not going to complain.

Hopefully we'll find a 100 game plus player in return.

Lappin's only got a couple of years left in the tank so getting a long term player isn't a bad outcome.

While I doubted Fevolutions original post, the word going around is that he will most likely end up at Richmond.
