I reckon if we snagged Vossy and Lance was still at the club... the first thing he woul;d ask is "Why is he still on the list?
The answer would be "He has the best 'Footy Brain' in the business Vossy!!!"
Voss would then say.. "Can he run, jusp, bust open a pack.. train hard,. lead?"

"No Vossy but he has the best footy brain in the land!!!"

"Bring in the 'Myth Busters' i want to see all this talk about a Footy Brain for myself!!!.......i just dont believe you can have a player on your lkist paying him a heap of dosh.. unable to run, take a contested mark, bust a pack, lead or train hard enough!!!"

I'd laugh if they said Matthew Lokan.

Xavier Leslie.......um....Xavier Ellis!

Didn't the Hawks read out the wrong name before panicking and saying Lance Franklin?

THE (ALMOST) ACCIDENTAL HERO
Hawthorn recruiting manager Gary Buckenara called the wrong player registration number at his club’s second pick, meaning a player by the name of Luke Franklin  was very briefly on his way to Glenferrie. The error was quickly corrected; instead, WA’s Lance Franklin will start his career in a brown and gold guernsey.

Is anyone starting to wonder whether Marc might be a bit over-rated? Maybe we should let the Pies have him and concentrate on getting a player we really need.

Just a thought.
