Sorry boys, don't think it would be fair if I play. If that squib Riewoldt turns up, put me on him and watch him leave with doughnuts.

Otherwise, at the very least, I don't want to out-perform you all, and then make you all look second rate when I take my shirt off to bask in the sunlight.

Oh no, not falling for that one again.

Speaking of which, if anyone on here works at the Mens Gallery, please inform the owner they owe me a night's wages, compensation for dry-cleaning bills, and a brand new leopard skin g-string.

Bel seems a little put off.
We have a rule for the matches that states you must be supporter of the club/forum you are playing for to be eligible to play.
Andrew (Waite'sChicksBrother) is a Collingwood supporter therefore he is unable to play.

The kid talks a lot of shit, but like Aker he backs it up on the footy field.

Oh and PJ... i got a Carlton supporting mate (diehard supporter) who wants to play. He rips me in a sprint, around 185cm, won the school highjump contest, can kick and take a grab... He's Kouta style.

Only thing is, outside of school footy he's never played. Always plaed Soccer. Still he'll rip nearly everyone that plays.

Chuck him on the wing i reckon.

Gee we have a fair few numbers on the list this year.
Very encouraging player stats as well.

Hopefully everyone/most of you will all turn up.

Does anyone else think we should close up shop in terms of recruiting blokes or should we leave the door open for any late stragglers?

Haven't played any games when Tyrant was playing... maybe together we can be the building blocks of an impenetrable defence... or 1/3 of a slow, injury prone back 6. It seems both of us have made the realisation that playing FB involves far less running... so is it OK that we just double team the SS FF?

Jeez, it looks like I've left it too late but if required I've got two mates (both pretty fit) who are keen for a run... here is a quick run-down on them.

Ben
177.5 cm (insisted the half a centimeter be included)
75 kg (massive shoulders though)
28 y.o.
Keen for a go in the centre

Alex
180 cm
82 kg
28 y.o.
Fancies himself as a utility in the Prendergast mould

We can never have too many on the interchange right...

I think with the likes of you, possibly Tyrants, BlueMark for a half, BlueBoyBenny and Singindablues, it should form a pretty good backline.
But if Lucas doesn't want to play, then that's cool.

I'll add your mates to the list.
At the moment we have 33 on the list. That's including the blokes like Prez, 4thChicken, Barone, Shag and his mate who are all maybes at this stage.

When we get closer to the date, by the looks of things it's going to be Sunday the 23rd of October, I will send a PM out to everyone requesting their final answer on their availability for the match.
I expect that if you say yes that you are available that you do the right thing and turn up.
If people don't turn up it throws the side all out of whack and other people have to be moved around to cover the loss of the absentees.

thanks for the vote clint but unfortunatley it aint going to happen for me this time.

if a game happens to be on a saturday arvo, on a weekend my misses is working and i have nothing else on, and can get cheap flights up and back, then yeah i'll prolly come down.

i'm keen as for a run. i haven't played a single game of competitve ball sport since i busted my collar bone in my last game when i was 16.

this sounds like great fun, and the best bit is the jumper you play in!
