Gone very quiet in here since Tuesday night.....

Seems the wind has been taken out of everybody's sails!

Can everybody please go and check in with their sauces and then report back??

How 'bout giving your sauces a grilling?

I just got back from a week in Fiji.

Christ, they love their rugby.

Logged on today, and found that nothing's happened. Apart from the usual bickering, which is tiresome to say the least.

Where's JK with his inside-info from the boardroom? Ah well, roll on the draft.

Go Swans.

How's the sauce in Fiji John?

Or is it just kava, kava, kava?

kava. Tannic dishwater.

I don't know how they do it.

Should I pay$157 to go to the Grand Final, and cheer on the Swans in memory of my old man, who was a died-in-the-wool south supporter?

It's a lot of money, but it could be a good game.

Well John, there'll always be another $157, but there'll never be another 2005 GF... :) So your question is really:
"Should I go to the Grand Final? "

And my answer is "YES"!

I had a really nice sauce.... but the last I saw of it was a guy with red hair, a big bum and a great footy brain waddling away with it

....and 5 four-n-twenties

Yes I think you should, that way I can rub it into some mates from Sydney who have paid $800 for their tickets.

Thanks JK. Fiji's good, although I didn't really wander outside of the rarified atmosphere of the resort. The real fiji is a bit different from resort-land though.

As for my tan, Rod, well I think I'm about 3% browner than when I left. I'm one of those BurnNotTan types.

But I did come back realising I hate trade rumours. Has one ever come true?
