Not sure if this has ever been asked but....

if Nick Stevens was Captain would he continue to run around the banner ?

He's obviously supersticious about it, but it would just seem strange a captain of a footy club not leading his troops through the banner before a match.

Has there ever been a captain that doesn't run through the banner ?

Apparently he runs around the banner as he once injured an ankle (IIRC) by getting tangled in the tape. I doubt he'd change if made captain.

Yes he did that when he captained us early in the year Wiz Cup when Kouta & Campo were both out. Also did it in his 150th.

Actually if he was made Captain he could run around the banner and clap and urge the rest of the players as they break through.

Maybe they could cut a Nick-sized flap in it - like a doggy-flap, that he can run through without fear of paper-cuts.

Or maybe we should make it really exciting and TORCH the banner and then make them run through it

Yeah, instead of kicking footys through, the players could torpedo flaming midgets.

They could make the banner out of really soft toilet paper like Sorbent...
And if they still have trouble running through it, they could give it a
quick spray of water beforehand so it's a bit soggy

Bit harsh on Eddie though

Although if we recruited Boomer Harvey I could see a future in it....

If the banner was made out of opposition jumpers, how many others would run around it?

Wouldn't there be a problem of the ink running and getting in players eyes or something?
