has been a great player for the club and has both a player and a person really rate him. but i think the club needs to sit down and think will this player be there in our next premiership and will this player be a telling factor in getting this list back near the top. the answer would have to be no. i dont think by the next time we win the flag campo will still be playing. so how can you justify paying him 500k when this money, this type of contract could be offered to players of which we will be building the our next flag around?.

although this being said i dont think kouta or lappin will be around at this time but i think kouta has a lot more to offer to young blokes and is the club captain.

i also remember reading somewhere a few years back an article in which campo send that he hope and felt obliged to leave the club in the same way he found it ie. his first season with us in 1995. i think this is extremly unlikely to happen.

Good point Luke, thanks for raising it.

It's a discussion that's needed to take place for some time, but I believe Synbad is particularly reluctant to talk about it.

With a Premiership and even Synbad will forgive him for his sins.

I couldn't even justify keeping Campo around the house if he was a good cook
