Dr Turf on 3AW says Fev is being offered around to a number of clubs.

As said by previous posters Fev wont leave Carlton unless the deal is too good to turn down eg Judd and Kerr.
Pagan isnt dumb and knows he has potential to be the next coleman medallist.
The only reason Carlton can actually can score is because of Fevola.
Yes he didnt score bags but he take the number 1 defender every week. He even gets double teamd each week. Also how many quality inside 50s does he get. Its up to the others to stand up and help Fev. Fisher and Waite have helped but they are not ready to be the focal FF.
If you ask non Carlton supporters who is part of Carltons forward line they would say Fev and Whitnall. Most wouldnt even know who Fish and Waitey are! A Scarlett would kill them at this point in time!.

Fev i think was pick 20+ in the 98/99.
LLyod was number 1 (Old draft system), Llyod has Lucas at CHF giving him long kick aswell.

Fev does love Carlton and Pagan! and he shouldnt be judged on his IQ but hes footy smarts (he has improved and will continue to)

GET OFF HIS BACK and let him play

he has no footy brain mate, he can only play full forward and no where else, mind you full forward is the easiest position to play on.

Yes thats why there are a surplus of class A full forwards and so little demand for them....
He leads to the right places, can take marks, kicks accurate in and outside 50. Thats the Full Forwards Job hes not suppose to take bounces on the wing.

If we had two Fev's at least we'd have one guaranteed player able to hit the other one lace out on the lead almost everytime. Fev's field kicking is better than his goal kicking I reckon. He could play on the wing/HFF if we had that luxury.

Given the success Fisher and Waite had latr in the season, with Fev acting as a decoy much of the time, do we now have that luxury?

The major problem with that is that Fev was taking the #1 backman.

If we retain Lance can we play him at FF and Fev further up the ground?

A small rumour, but a rumour nevertheless.

Fevola > St.Kilda
Montagna, Goddard and Pick 16(?) > Carlton

Montagna, Goddard and Trent West? Would tempt me, but Pagan?. :?
How did West play in the TAC Cup Grand Final?

He won't go to St Kilda since Gehrig will probably play on.

Quote:
27 September 2005 Herald Sun
Jim Wilson

CARLTON is awaiting out-of-contract forward Lance Whitnall to return from overseas this week before resuming talks.
The Blues are hoping the latest offer of about $350,000 a season will be enough to keep the 26-year-old at Optus Oval.

But chief executive Michael Malouf refused to guarantee Brendan Fevola would be at the club next season.

Fevola signed a new three-year deal worth about $1.5 million earlier this season, but the Blues are continuing to explore the possibility of offloading the forward.

"He's a contracted player but I can't categorically say he'll be at the club next year," Malouf said. "Every player on the list is subject to discussion."

No Fev, Lance or Lappin! It's the end of the Carlton Football Club!
Trade them all if it can get the club back on it's feet quickly and god forbid, we may finish bottom four without them.
Simply Red's appropriate - Money's too tight too mention!

Fev wanted by West Coast big time....

Liitle wonder.

Actually, that would be a good move for Fev...

Id hate to see him go.. in my opinion it means the club is rudderless.

Agree ..no Montagna..dont rate him that highly regardless of his off field activities...Goddard and Pick 16 for Fev....you would think about it....but
I'm a fan of Fev's becuase he has ability and can win games..my preference is to keep him and sort out his problems at least try for one more year..its going to take a very good offer for me to see Fev walk out the door...I would want the Saints getting a top ten pick to add to Goddard...Nathan Thompson's deal set the market price and I would wanting the Saints working a bit harder to get pick 16 down to pick 10 or earlier by doing some deals....Fev has to be worth the equivalent of Thompson if not more....
