The overrisding thing with the interview was about payments outside the salary cap and getting them down and how much Lance is "required".

So I am guessing that Kouta who gets all of the promotional allownace for the last few years might not be getting all of it for next year. They wont be using all of it anyway. The vet list will of course have Kouta in there and Campo will have a greatly reduced contract or be gone entirely which will reduce the extra money outside the counted salary cap through the veterans list.
