Pro sportsmen should be paid by one rule - renumeration = performance.

Kouta = $340k per year
Whitnall = $320k per year
Lappin = $280k per year
Campo = $250k per year

That's what they are worth in my opinion and that's being kind, because I haven't brought in the Judd rule, that is Judd is reportedly only earning $350k per year. If that was brought in the top dollar earner there would be about $200k per year.

I support the jumper and the player who works for what that jumper represents in our traditions.

Lance has publicly thumbed his nose at Carlton, so at this time I criticise him, so what, it was done in the tradition of a 'roast', where unkind critcism is labelled at someone. If you can't see that, well you can't see it.

Forget about money, Lance is best served going to another club, where he can try to get the best out of himself for the rest of his career. Personally i don't think it will happen at Carlton under any circumstances, so I'll be supporting Lance to win a premiership medal somewhere else. :wink:

Anyone but me, really.

The supporters love me.

I'm pretty sure the Victory Room is named after me, as V is very close to W in the alphabet, and Wiggins starts with W.

Think about it. I preach subtlety.

Nick Stevens $350k - but you have to pay more to get him from another club
Fevola $340k - not much less than what he is getting plus the marketing allowance
Houlihan $210k
Scotland $250k

Pay players to build unity amongst players, not to feed there own egos. In my wage system the young players like Waite, Fisher, Simpson would be getting Campo's wages.

Okay Sydney Blue, put your thinking hat on, you put your wages next to those eight players. :-D

Houlie basically didnt go hard enough against the Hawks in a contest and didnt see senior action until the last game .Expect more and more of this from Pagan in 2006 as i think if we continue to play like shit Denis will wield the axe on anyone and they will find themselve with a nasty ant on the front of their jumper.It will be his 4th year at the club and I get the impression that his patience has almost run out in relation to a number of big named players.

Too bloody right, as it should be.

Lots of jusification in this thread, but no-one is willing to put thier hand up and say who the next target will be.

Personally I reckon it may be Nick, most definately Fev if he stays.
