Pro sportsmen should be paid by one rule - renumeration = performance.

Kouta = $340k per year
Whitnall = $320k per year
Lappin = $280k per year
Campo = $250k per year

That's what they are worth in my opinion and that's being kind, because I haven't brought in the Judd rule, that is Judd is reportedly only earning $350k per year. If that was brought in the top dollar earner there would be about $200k per year.

I support the jumper and the player who works for what that jumper represents in our traditions.

Lance has publicly thumbed his nose at Carlton, so at this time I criticise him, so what, it was done in the tradition of a 'roast', where unkind critcism is labelled at someone. If you can't see that, well you can't see it.

Forget about money, Lance is best served going to another club, where he can try to get the best out of himself for the rest of his career. Personally i don't think it will happen at Carlton under any circumstances, so I'll be supporting Lance to win a premiership medal somewhere else.
