Swap Gehrig to Carlton and Fevola to St Kilda and IMO you'd have Fev kicking more goals, taking more marks and contesting more marks while Gehrig is left to make angry faces with the ball at the other end of the ground.

Agreed.

Fraser Gehrig = the new Mick Martyn.

Yes but Fraser gets 3 times the ball Fevola does.. or are you going to tell us how they get equal opportunity.
The other thing Frser gets is less attention because they also have Riewoldt, Kosi and Hamill in that side to suck up defenders and stretch them thin...

We have Fev and then Lance when he plays... and you know how much room Lance makes with his pace.

PS we now have an opportunity to bring back Beauie Murphy and Lallan as well as Corey, Sydney Blues.. interested????
:?

The AFL saw fit to parade Beauy and Corey around the MCG on Saturday as retiring CHAMPIONS of our game. Who am I to argue with them.

Thats why we should embrace them back to the playing fold...

CHAMPION FOOTBALLERS WE NEED!!!!

Just think though Synbad if we had kept them and allowed them to retire with dignity and not be turfed out on their ear we could have had Delidio - Tambling and Knoble at our club couldn't we.

Fev gets a raw deal here cause of the way he behaves but how boring would footy be if everyone acted like Jason Dunstall. Characters like Fev, Brownless, Hawkins, Aker etc. make the game more exciting.
I reckon when Fev finishes his career he will have kicked more goals than any other Carlton player in history.

Id sooner have the ball in Fevs hands than Lances...

Noone can tell me theyre more comfortable with the ball in Lances hands to swing a game then Fevs.

Fev is our ONLY matchwinner....

The one subject I agree with you conpletely on. Not so muckh on Kouta and Campo, but in regards to Fev, we need him at the club to help win games. People are judging his output from the second half of the season when he was injured. He was averaging 3 a game in the first 11 games until his uinjury came. Give the guy a break. Shut up about this, he's staying at Carlton.

Carlton, trading Fevola would just be to continually rub salt in our wounds and just be a huge mistake. Don't trade him!!

So we have signed him up for too much and other clubs don't think he's worth it. The laughs on us I think.

OK. That's the same for anyone we trade I guess.
