Ballantyne & Sandilands injured today :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Ibottson and possibly McPharlin & Pearce to come back in.

Hartlett suspended for Port. Huge loss.

I rarely post, but I agree.

Say nothing and do nothing - except cheer loudly and passionately for our boys!

There is no need for us as supporters to add fuel to their fire. It potentially gives them a motive and an opportunity to rise above the turmoil they are in- which our boys then have to deal with on the field.

These personal supporter antics are bad karma!
And are hopefully just tongue in cheek?

FWIW, I REALLY like the idea someone posted somewhere of the supporters turning their backs on Essendon** when they run out. That form of silent protest would be a truly awesome thing if it could be done.

Yeah, I suggested we did it after every goal they kick the first time we played them. If large sections of the crowd stood up and turned their backs, it would almost be impossible for it not to be noticed on TV and by commentators.

We should get a twitter campaign going. #standupandturnaroundforhird :smoking:

We may well witness a miracle this week against the scum.

The umpires might actually give us a break for once and adjudicate the game in our favour or least fairly. That would be something!

I am with you on this one Choo. Yazz is also a confidence player. I thought he worked harder yesterday. I wouldn't drop him on that performance.

He's nearly 23 years old with 80 games under his belt. 11 kicks yesterday with 3 clangers and no goals.

When does it become about productivity and output and not talent?

Working hard should be the minimum standard for any AFL player.

True

But I wouldn't drop him either.
I could see it turning around yesterday with his tackles.
He needs some coach love and maybe MM will give it to him.
I agree Yazz is a confidence player.

He may just cut those Bumbers up next week, but your point Psych is that we can't rely on him being productive.
MM might turn him a round. If MM drops him then his tenure at CFC is doubtful.
I reckon...just a hunch... MM would want to keep class like Yazz on the list.
I love Yazz at HB, but it looks too easy for him and feels he's wasted back there.
There's a spot in our 18 for him, but that's up to MM.

Yaz needs to learn how to win contested football

Agree, I wouldn't be doing anything to antagonise them.

Don't hold your collective breaths.
St Hird and he's team are incorrectly prosecuted and we need to feel sorry for them.

Looks like the brave taxi basher will be back this week,
just in time to single handedly beat us and rescue their season like the chosen one he is.

Taxi drivers around Richmond are warned to be on the lookout - just in case the brave asterix's get too euphoric after the game and hail a cab

..Hurley has been mediocre for a while now, the juice hasnt done him any good at all.. ..first couple of seasons seemed so promising, but he looks to be too injury prone to make do on that potential.. ..think he likes to play fwd, but his best is in defence.. ..especially the way things are these days, hurley ain't much chop, and their team is beginning to see through clokey's smoke and shadows behind the curtain..

Careful, he might be due for a birthday....we have been generous over the past 10 years.

A poster last week, (can't remember who), levelled what I thought was way-over-top criticism of Brock.

Richmond v Carlton
9 Brock McLean (Carl)
6 Mitch Robinson (Carl)
5 Kade Simpson (Carl)
4 Andrew Walker (Carl)
3 Ed Curnow (Carl)
3 Brett Deledio (Rich)

Just sayin'

Mick didn't do us any favours with his rant last week. Make no mistake Bummers will be primed for this one.

If our players get beaten because of what the coach says in the media or because what x y or z journalist writes etc etc then we have bigger problems than we know about.

Simple fact is that if your not motivated to win and believe you can win as soon as you cross that white line, then you shouldn't be playing AFL footy!

One would hope that Carlton playing one of its big rivals and one that is a pack of drug cheating dogs should be more than enough motivation to smash the * into oblivion :)

..good i say, and the players should be right behind him.. ..all the other teams should be working as hard as possible to smash the bombres when they play vs them.. ..those shmucks have the gall to call us cheats..
