I think the question might be who plays back, Waite or Henderson.
Kruezer and Casboult look like playing forward with either Waite or Hendo. Hope the rain stays away.

Good, I'm still worried about his hip...particularly towards the end of seasons

Warnock, Kruze and even Hammer...show plenty if left as sole ruck men ...show less ( except Kruze- a bit) when they have other roles...we'll trade one of them depending on the price...MOST likely Warnock maybe Hammer. Hope Kruze plays... Just worried that the balance isn't right...Saints and Bulldogs games a reminder?

Agree Bill. The very reason I wanted to see Kruezer supported and resting forward earlier.
We cannot flog the kid like that this early in his career. I also thin he can be a good foward.
His mobile, quick, can take a grab and doesn't mind getting down and dirty!

Felt better about this game after speaking to a couple of bombers' mates tonight and they give themselves no hope.

Yup..

Very sick.

I've put $25 on Essendon* @ $3.20.

We had a reasonably well balanced team last week. Dropping a running/tall defender and bringing in a ruckman is bizarre.
Why dont we stick with a consistent formula instead of changing the structure every week? Running power should be our go.
Playing 3 tall forwards or running the rucks off the bench will only reduce our running capacity.

Hoping for a win but not overly confident. key. Scoring efficiency won us the game last week and we'll need it early to get the game on our terms but I suspect this one will be a blowout either way.

Set up computer at the other end of the house so as not to wake Mrs Sombrero? Check
Set alarm for 0430? Check.
Now to wait for 24 hours so I can have an early night and get ready for the massacre.

I hope you are right Mr. Sombrero.
I am a tiny bit uneasy.
nothing is a given.

Aren't you the caretaker of the worry room, BG?

We'll know at 1pm if the team is unchanged.

I'm expecting a tall out

Do you think we'll leave out a tall at all?

Everyone knows my feelings on Nick Duigan after his Round 1 performance, and my 'should never play for Carlton again' has come to fruition - but I think he plays tonight. And I say that because I know Williamstown are expecting a change to the NB line-up today.

I hope it is. Adds to our ball winning in the midfield.

Ess* players should protest tonight for what that disgraceful club has done to them. Just sit down and stare at the coaches box.

Ellard down at Williamstown this morning - didn't see Nick Duigan.

That doesn't matter as we always hold back at least one player before the main match.

Standard practice. If two emergencies sent playing then that may be different.
