Salads cost less.
You know what they say about those with the greatest share of the celery cap. Short arms and long pockets.

I prefer the old days, with blokes like Herb Elliott running around

They were our salad days for sure. When we'd write lettuce to each other rather than send emails

The only carrot dangled in front of Juddy comes from Rebecca's ring finger.. The 24 carrot type.

Very deep. The carrot thing was just a response to the celery thing.

Buckley on radio last week mentioned they're bringing in a new fitness programme that will increase fitness of their players by 10-15%.

A parting shot at Buttifant and Malthouse.

Having said that, if they succeed, watch us chase that bloke in 5 years whilst they move on to something else

Yes, they brought in the guy that was at St Kilda for only one year. Given St Kilda's issues however, it would be difficult to judge his work.

10 to 15% extra fitness?

Wow!

Buckley should be sacked if he was allowing his team to operate so far under the benchmark.

Or does he mean that they can design a new and legal program that's suddenly 10 to 15% better than the other 17 clubs?

The man must be some sort of genius.

Or perhaps just full of shit.

His statement was just a jab at the departing staff member.

However, being part of the fitness industry myself and being close to a few people who have worked with David B in the past, he's not know for being very cutting edge. Actually, outdated is probably the consensus amongst those i've brought it up with

I know ill get shot down by the Carlton sympathisers for saying it, but i dont think it was a great appointment.
