Turns out my cricket changes to Friday on the 11th of November so unless the match is a twi-light match i won't be able to make it.

Jeezus, you guys are dropping like flys on me.

Thank christ we have a bench.

It'll give some of the others a better chance of starring.

8)

PJ, you'll be happy to know CK and I are in training.

Last night after tea I walked over to the Brunswick St Oval and jogged around it in the dark, bouncing and kicking the footy and waving to the grandstand, like Chicken Smallhorn....

I'M PUMPED!!!

@#$%&! yeah, Lucas.

We'll have you killing Barks down back and Chuck kicking goal after goal, taking mark after mark in our forward line.

@#$%&! yeah.

actually, we could do that training thing at Brunswick St Oval. Its reasonably central, and no one's ever there (though I think they play cricket there on saturdays)

I'll even let you be Haydn Bunton.

CK likes to be Kevin Murray

*footnote: John Murphy started playing the year after they left Brunswick St Oval*

BTW, there is two openings in the midfield due to the omission of Big Danny G and his mate Ollie, and there is an opening on the half forward flank as well.

If anyone on the list wants to put their hand up and think they have what it takes to fill either three of these positions, let me know.

Am looking in Orangelad's mates direction for the midfield spots.

HFF and Forward pocket sounds good to me....wouldnt mind having a quicky in the midfield either....ive got the pace and endurance to keep up...but if left there too long my lack of experience will show...

I had you down as forward, Shagger.

Might leave you there given your jumping ability.

:-D

cheers guys

I just noticed club29 is unavailable

Isn`t he the red headed Adran Hickmott gun in your midfield?

I havn`t even checked to see how your numbers are going but I`m sure you guys will be more than fine!

We`re starting to get things together

We`ve had a lot of our better players out due to the exams in early Nov

but we should have enough numbers for a fun day

We`ll be nowhere near as strong as the last time we played

Gee, I hope your umpire goes easy on the whistle this time
