In fairness, Psych has always been pretty good at nominating the players he likes before and after the draft. He deserves credit for that. Lots of others don't have the courage to do so and be judged three years later. We'd all be none the wiser on his backflip on Duigan if he hadn't committed it to writing.
Just goes to show though that opinions change, we all get it wrong from time to time and its all easy in hindsight.
Cheers TBB. Nice to see someone look at it from both sides.
Happy to be proven wrong. My wife reminds me of it every day.
The issue I do have is being wrongly criticised by people just looking for cheap shots. AND they are always the same people. You can almost call it before it happens. Read the posts its the same people time after time and yet they add nothing themselves.
I think being called for "Hindsight" a bit rich. As I said I put my opinions up before and after the facts.
As for the Duigan scenario I don't agree that it was a good selection (my opinion), however whilst he was a Carlton player I supported him and hoped for the best. I even identified roles and scenarios I believed he could be valuable.
As for people bringing up the best 22 options, seriously?, its a bit of fun and I change the bloody thing every week.
It's not that hard. Just certain people like to twist to suit there own agenda. Won't make one bit of difference to me, I'll keep having MY opinion, if you don't like it, don't read it!
