To address it again here; you are right but I'm numb to these kinds of decisions from Carlton these days. You never know what they are up to or what they are thinking. :?

..you said it best a while ago..and by a while, i mean years.. ..recruiting and drafting strategy is one knee jerk reaction after another, with no cohesive vision from year to year..

If only I was that succinct.

If we can't get anything for Warnock we probably should keep him on the rookie list as backup I suppose and promote Wood as 2nd to Kreuzer.

Wood takes the odd mark around the ground but he is seriously s terrible ruckman.
Watched him closely last night he hasn't got a clue when it comes to rucking

We lost by over 100 points, pretty hard to rate a single player when the whole team performs badly.

Last night we were getting absolutely SMASHED in the clearances, their mids simply destroyed us, ran harder and wanted it more.

Thought Wood actually did pretty well last night considering how badly we performed as a team.

..22HO, 16disp, 8marks.. ..decent effort, and will take an all round ruck over a tap specialist every day of the week..

..btw, no real drop off in clearance stats..

Great post. He is a back up. We can't make finals with him rucking. Warnock still our best centre bounce option

Disappointing ending to the season - in fact a very disappointing season all round. Combination of injuries, shocking recruiting and poor development.

Taps are over rated. The giraffe can do nothing else.

Dogs beat GWS next week, we finish 14th and get a top 5 pick, barring any priority, free agency stuff. If lions can pull off an unlikely win also, we finish 15th.

Agree will that and we have a few in that department
Warnock taps and nothing
Levi marks and nothing
Wood picks up the odd disposal but cant ruck
And kruezer cant get out of the medical ward

None of our Ruckman are any good. I'd get rid of all of them and start again.

I think Wood goes ok.

He's got more improvement in him I reckon... still young in ruckman terms

Disagree if and thats a big if Kruezer could get his body right he could be one of the best players in the comp.
Unfortunately I don't think we will ever see it

I don't see it. Still has the same issues as always. Ruck work solid but decision making is still an issue. It's okay whilst we are struggling but if we improve he will fall away. Handy back up at best.

So we will hang on to him just in case? How about seeing if someone will pay above the odds for him whilst he may have some value?

Poo, poo, poo and a fourth piece of poo in exchange for wagyu beef?

Why would West Coast want their list next year to look like Carlton's does this year?
