Garlett wd be very attractive to WCE. He is from the west and they desperately need pace. Any chance we can actually win on a deal for once. Perhaps they give us a first rounder like we did for Brock, or a second and fourth like we did for Warnock. For $&@/;? Sake lets get the better of a deal.

What is our plan? What is the state of the list? When are we realistically planning to be in a gf? I can't imagine it will be while Higgins is playing. We need to understand that we are a fair way from a flag and will be further away in a few years when Judd, simmo and a few more are gone or on their last legs. The players who are going to be guns in 5 years are in the draft. Higgins was dropped by the dogs, and where did they finish? What is he going to add? We have to stop with short term fixes to get us a few spots higher on the ladder but still miles from a flag. When we are close to a flag list, then top it up.

Its good to see someone gets it.

Be surprised if Ellard is retained...
Reckon we will try and trade Lucas and Garlett..
If someone offers a second rounder for casboult hopefully we take it, can mark but still can't kick, not sure he will ever break games open..
Shaun Higgins, not sure that will eventuate, could be wrong, rumours he was off to north..
We will chase Kristian Jaksch, make no mistakes about that, player maybe involved in that trade..
Menzel, Buckley, Cripps and Docherty, add Jaksch and pick 6, young talent looking better already...
Another young ruckmen would be nice..
Bring on trade week..

At least he is a free agent, not like our last coach who would have given away our 1st rounder for him.

Hughes rated him top 10. A first rounder is only fair.

Imagine the gems we could snaffle if we had four picks around 38, 39, 40, 41?

Geez many list changes happening. Hope we are not going to top up on old btoken down plsyers for a quick fix.

So we could be getting rid of Waite, Levi, Robbo and Garlett. Who on talent are part of our best 22.

This is making me nervous.

We need to get in young talent, not guys like Higgins on big coin.

Trigg (even though he shouldn't be involved in List Management) sounds like he knows how to get the best of a Trade Deal, after all he managed to ream us over the Jacobs deal, and stole Betts from us.

He owes us one.

Not sure if 'getting rid' of Waite and Levi is an accurate description.

Further to our List Management Issues.

We should be making a point of bringing over the best Young Irish player EVERY year.

We have 3 boys on our list now (Tuohy, Sheehan & Byrne) so I am sure this would make it easier to entice players.

An Irish recruit under the current rules is essentially a free hit.

First thing I'd try and do is have another crack at Ciaran Kilkenny, he ditched us then went to Hawthorn and didn't last the pre-season, (got homesick apparently) but might be persuaded to have another go with the other 3 boys that are here.

We ream ourselves.

We are no good at this trade thing.

Yes, of course he would have. :screwy:
Ratten has been gone for 2 years now. Why don't you try and let it go.
As much as you keep kicking the shit out of him here, the bloke was a club champion and premiership player.
He contributed to CFC 100 times more than you ever will. He's gone. Get over it.

How does getting Higgins as a FA stop us from getting anyone else in a trade?

I understand why the club wants to come down harshly on Robbo, however given all we ever hear from Mick is how introverted and quiet this group is, I would have though keeping Robbo is a must. His 'take no prisoners' approach is something we sorely need.
