barks,
i said it once already and will do so again, their age, gender or whether they got a stat is irrelevant. by the rules of the game, if we called for a count YOU WERE F***ED!!!!!!
the reason our forwards outnumbered your backs was because myself and bnz would lead onto the wing, and then double back into the 50. this move generally got us free from our opponent....nothing more, nothing less.....

even if the extra people didnt touch the ball, or they were girls, we dont know how crap or good they are, to us its just another person we have to watch and make sure they dont get the ball....the circumstances are irrelevant, according to the rule you cannot have more than 18 players on the field at once. the 7y.o i dont care about, but to say "oh, they were just girls"......one of them had 2 goals!!!even if they are girls...they were still there to play, and you straight out cheated. i cant speak for everyone, but if your gunna be like that, then the feeling is mutual....goodbye!

 there you go with your choice of words again!

BTW, did you not notice that a few of your goals in the last quarter were a direct result of your forwards outnumbering our backs 3 to 1?

Fair Dinkum we were 51 points up at 3/4 time and took a few of our best players off in that last quarter and far from cheating actually played a worse team just to give some people a run who had been sitting on the bench all day!

Also we played 16 guys and two girls against 18 guys for two whole quarters!

So the girls didn`t want to come off and just stayed out there in the last quarter> FAIR DINKUM> did I think anyone was going to care

Fair dinkum a 7 yo walks out 30 metres onto the ground for 5 minutes and suddenly he`s one of our extra players for the whole last quarter!

two girls and a seven year old> FAIR DINKUM

Despite the players you mentioned not registering a possession, they were still out there and capable of extending the margin even further. Had that been a close game and one of them had popped up with a match winning goal, then I would be more annoyed than I am now. Fortunately, that wasn't the case.

Quote:

We actually played a worse team and that is called cheating!

Again did you not notice that your forwards out numbered our backs in the last quarter on quite a few occasions 3 to 1 and this also resulted in a few of your goals?

Did you not notice that you won the last quarter convincingly 4 goals to 1 while all this said cheating was taking place!

Is the penny dropping yet?

FAIR DINKUM THIS IS MIND BOGGLING IN THE EXTREME!

Also btw, I don`t seem to have the number we need to call to claim our sheep station> any of you guys have it?

You obviously believe you didn't have 19 and 22 on the field at stages, so I guess we'll leave it at that.

You quite obviously have read nothing or at least understood anything I`ve written!

Looking forward to playing you guys or some other forum in the near future.
FWIW, I have only posted over at HHQ about the situation and won't be posting about it anywhere else.

Houston we have a problem

If we bring out the dirt patrol and dump on you guys, do not be surprised!

As for playing you again> don`t hold your breath!

It won`t be me organizing it!

FAIR DINKUM disgraceful> enjoy playing other forums cya :!:

what was all that?

You could see it now though.......

"Some bloke in a red, black and white jumper representing a team based on mediocrity kicks it to a girl, 20m out, all on her own, plays on, and GoOAAAAALLLL! That's GOTTA hurt!"

Lord knows I've seen Trent Sporn do it enough to testify to this.

Everyone chill. The match yesterday was played in excellent spirit - really good - and was great fun and the result was fair. The Sainters got off to a flier but after that we held them nicely. But best of all, apart from my 60-metre running goal out of the centre, was the spirit of the day. Great fun, and let's remember it for what it was - great fun.

Barks, don't lose your marbles. Was good fun, and we're entitled to be a lil bit tacked off given 8 of our blokes didn't turn up, then our 16 (plus 1.1 of your players) were left to man up on 22 in the last. Not much fun at the end of a long day, as I'm sure you can appreciate. So allow us to be a little frustrated. We'll get over it.

PJ, thanks again mate for all your work to organise it. Great effort and well done. I thought Clint was our best on the day - he just did a mountain of work - PJ was great, BNZ worked hard, as did BBB, Tekno, Tyrant was a big presence down back, Bull a big presence up forward, Shag and little Nick didn't stop. Another two blokes who looked a bit like Clint were terrific too (like the lad with the cap) but I'm awful with names but you know who I mean.

Highlights were Bull's tackle in the second quarter, PJ's two tackles - one in the middle that stopped a 70-metre run and then one on the goal line that stopped a goal - Clint's superb mark, baulk and 40-metre pass to Shag. Shag's one-handed pick-up around #23 was all class. Charles and Fullmont sharing the ball and tapping it forward to get clear of four Sainters on the wing, taking the ball between them from defence into attack. And there was one piece of play where a link of about eight handballs moved the ball from the back-pocket to the half-forward flank into the wind that was damn nice. Lots and lots of things to work with there for the next match. But most of all, it was just a fun afternoon with a fun group of fellas, and thanks to those who came and watched too. Was all good.

Personally, I think my football-jumper-shaped sunburn is quite fetching. I'll just have to draw a CFC on my stomach for the next match. And I'm not really that sore. I just can't really walk. Or even really sit down. And I've got a decent old egg on the back of my head. So lying down's not much fun either. Gotta love footy.

Great fun lads! Magic effort under the circumstances.

Yeah, you can take a look at the last time our two forums play each other!

Of course if you bother to retract what you posted about us at HH and admit that you`re wrong and that your just a piss poor loser perhaps we can organize another game!

Aside from that enjoy playing other forums but don`t bother trying to organize a game with SS with me!

Fair Dinkum >PATHETIC

and btw don`t be surprised when I dump on you guys everywhere!

You don`t reckon there are going to be consequences

I`ll give you a day to delete whatever crap you`ve written over there on HH about SS, apologize, digest what I`ve written on Talking Carlton and come to your senses before I turn Talking Carlton`s name into mud on every forum!

Cheers

P.S You don`t happen to have the number we`re suppose to call for that sheepstation we won!
I don`t seem to have it handy

Apparently the name of Talking Carlton is going to be dragged through the mud on every other site.

And you call me childish.

I'll remove the post from HHQ though.

You post a thread on HH dumping on us and warning HH to not play us

Do you seriouslty think we`re gonna play you again?

Fair Dinkum

You say thanks for the extra two players> I was offering more and tried to do my best to get your numbers up even more but you declined

then in the last quarter two girls stayed out there, a seven year old wanders on for five minutes, I take some of our best players off and suddenly we`re cheats

Ya just don`t get it do you

Did it occur to you why TC had the better of the last quarter when apparently we were cheating?

Do you seriously think I`m not gonna dump on TC after you dumped on us ?

FWIW we`ve got a game on the 20th of November so don`t organize a game then!

I can put up with all your inhouse whinging here and on SS but to start a thread warning another forum to not play SS has taken this way too far!

Best let it be, Shag.

Let them have the win that they deserve.

But yeah, I have requested that the thread be taken down over at HHQ.

Couldn't the 7 year old kid have come onto the ground when the game was over?

Barks, enough mate. All done. The game was in played in excellent spirit and you guys were better on the day. Please pass on our thanks to SS on a good day all round. And your #23, #24, the big fella and the tall thin bloke down back were superb. Well done.

It's alright. I have since apologised for the outburst on SS.

Hopefully that goes some way to mending the situation.

I don't quite understand, either it's a friendly match where scores don't matter and everyone can go nuts with girls, kids, dogs and the odd giraffe trotting around, or it's semi-serious where the rules are followed and the score actually does mean something. Which was it?

If it was up to me every time a goal was kicked the scoring team would have to chug a beer each, sounds more fun than the situation at hand.
