The first thread says 'will most probably be at another club next season'. Clearly that's hardly an official announcement - simply a statement of probabilities. At that stage, it was probably likely that Lappin was going to walk.

If Synbad posted today that Lappin 'will most probably re-sign for 2 years' then you'd have a point. But it sounds pretty cut and dried to me.

John not that I am questioning Synbad but if you keep making big annoucements often enough you are bound to get one right sooner or later.

Well obviously you are doubting Synbad, SB - if you say that he's just making big announcements all over the shop in the hope that one eventually sticks.

Synbad's got a pretty good record here for giving us the good oil because he has some contacts at the club. But obviously, when you're told something by an insider, it doesn't always come to fruition. Can't help that, and it's no reason to suggest that Synbad's no better than some bigfooty nuff who posts speculative crap all day long.

Don't know what he's posted to suggest that he's not generally on the money?
