Would have played in a premiership Synbad, If the Swans had kicked 12 more goals and he'd been selected to play.
Mick just jettisoned him.

Can't see that happening while Warnock is still on the list.

Probably not. I suspect we'll just nominate him and Sheehan before the start of the season.

I have a really good feeling about Sheehan.

Reckon he'll capture a lot of attention next year.

Excellent addition to the list.

So we need 6 players to make up 38 primary list players.

If you include Bootsma, that's three first round draft picks we've lost from our list this season for nothing.

Someone at Carlton done [REDACTED] up!

surprised ellard was retained as I feel as if there is a limit sa to what he can offer the team. Particularly given that we are bringing in another 177cm player (tutt)

I would probably have leant towards either lucas (upside), mclean (capacity to dominate a game on occasion) or even letting all 4 of them go.

May still happen, it's a pretty decent free agent pool.

The article says the club has finalised changes to its playing list. I'll take that as an indication Ellard is safe. Tutt, Dick and 4 picks fits with what Rogers has previously indicated will happen too.

Strange way to do business when we're looking to upgrade our small forward stocks and there's Polkinghorne and Jetta just sitting there looking for a new club...

They probably reckon that Ellard is most versatile if req'd to come in and fill a role for injury (compared to McLean and Lucas).
