Malthouse just said in the press conference our problem wasn't effort last week. Who does this guy think he is kidding? The tackle count was a joke and it was the main focal point of discussion throughout the football world this week. The guy is a dated, selfish, over confident wanker. The saddest thing is that he thinks he is outwitting the press, the members and supporters. He is embarrassing. He isn't the cause of our woes but this guy doesn't make me feel part of our club.
I just don't like him.

I'm not a supporter of what is occurring on field currently and believe there is a lot wrong with our structures and setup's, etc. but MM is right about this.

BV he was talking about distance covered and intensity of the running involved. I agree that it's shit that they're not throwing their arms and body out to tackle as much too, but a factor in that how opponent-centric the midfield structure is.

If there's no zone or wall to slow the run, they'll be chasing tail much more than laying tackles and creating 50/50 contests.

Unfortunately I think we are seeing more and more of the Malthouse I don't like. It's about him now not the club. He is spitting the dummy and will blame everyone else for the issues at hand.

The board for once need to make a decision and move him on now. It's not doing anyone any good.

I really hate the comment "I'm not a quitter". All it shows is it's about him and not the players or the club.

It must be awful around the inner sanctum of CFC at the moment. Need to clear the decks and start again on so many levels.

He's disappointed me as well. I thought the change in President may bring some leadership. It's just as bad. In these times when the club is at its lowest ebb he needs to stand up and show the members/supporters a direction and sell hope.

Someone who's opinion I trust questioned the appointment of Trigg as well saying he is not the person in a crisis. I questioned his comment. I get the feeling now he was right.

micky and his comments destroyed their confidence and self belief a long time ago

all he does is deflect blame and look at another avenue to blame

between our new president and micky the players will be running out with strait jackets on soon :confused:
